Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from Plainfield vs. Franklin while we had eyes and ears in gyms in every corner of the state as well. Here is everything you need to know from the final Tuesday night of the Indiana High School Basketball regulars season.
It was a fast-paced, high-scoring affair at Plainfield High School as the Quakers hosted the Franklin Grizzly Cubs. The home team landed the first blow as senior guard Eli Ellis Eli Ellis 5'11" | SG Plainfield | 2024 State IN knocked in three three-point shots in the opening period. He and fellow senior running mate Collin Schmidt Collin Schmidt 6'7" | PF Plainfield | 2024 State IN would continue to grow Plainfield’s lead eventually making it a 20 point game, 61-41, going into the fourth quarter. At that point, Micah Davis Micah Davis 6'0" | PG Franklin | 2024 State #184 Nation IN took over for Franklin. He knocked in five three-point shots in the final period alone cutting Franklin’s deficit all the way down to six points, but that would be as close as they could get. Ultimately, Plainfield handed Franklin their first Mid-State Conference loss of the season, 83-69. DePauw bound Eli Ellis Eli Ellis 5'11" | SG Plainfield | 2024 State IN led the Quakers with 21 points while sophomore Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'7" | SF Plainfield | 2026 State IN added 18 points and 12 rebounds. Landon Gilliatt Landon Gilliatt 6'0" | PG Plainfield | 2026 State IN finished with 14 points and 7 assists while IU-South Bend recruit Collin Schmidt Collin Schmidt 6'7" | PF Plainfield | 2024 State IN chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. For Franklin, Eastern Kentucky signee Micah Davis Micah Davis 6'0" | PG Franklin | 2024 State #184 Nation IN scored 30 of his game-high 36 points in the second half while knocking in seven three-point shots.
Junior forward Bryson Cardinal Bryson Cardinal 6'6" | PF Guerin Catholic | 2025 State IN scored 21 points to lead Guerin Catholic to a 62-44 win over University.
Eugene Young Jr finished with 26 points and 8 rebounds as Fort Wayne North Side defeated Fort Wayne Northrop 71-60.
Lawrence North’s two sophomore forwards led they to a 70-53 win over Hamilton Southeastern. Brennan Miller Brennan Miller 6'7" | PF Lawrence North | 2026 State IN scored 17 points while Kai McGrew Kai McGrew 6'8" Lawrence North | 2026 State IN added 14 points.
Fishers finished the regular season with a 69-48 win over North Central. Keenan Garner Keenan Garner 6'6" | PF Fishers | 2024 State IN scored 15 points to pace the Tigers.
Superstar freshman Jaylan Mitchell Jaylan Mitchell 6'7" Evansville Reitz | 2027 State IN led all scorers with 27 points while Evan Hayes added 25 points, but Jeffersonville took down Evansville Reitz 74-70. Junior guard Michael Cooper Michael Cooper 6'2" | PG Jeffersonville | 2025 State IN finished with 16 points for the Red Devils while classmate Tre Singleton Tre Singleton 6'7" | PF Jeffersonville | 2025 State #225 Nation IN chipped in 15 points.
Luke Helmuth Luke Helmuth 6'1" | PF Westview Jr Sr | 2024 IN scored 19 points as Westview beat Fremont 56-46.
Purdue signee Jack Benter Jack Benter 6'4" | SG Brownstown Central | 2024 State #121 Nation IN poured in 39 points in his final home game as Class 2A #1 Brownstown Central defeated New Albany 84-60.
Josiah Cox Josiah Cox 6'2" | PG Tri | 2024 IN scored 28 points in Tri’s 72-62 win over Hagerstown.

Southwestern (Hanover) capped off the regular season with a 61-56 win over Charleston. Landon Kidwell Landon Kidwell 6'6" | PF Southwestern (Hanover) | 2025 IN scored a team-leading 20 points on the night.
Blackhawk Christian escaped with an 87-83 double overtime win over Leo. Senior guard Isaac Smith Isaac Smith 6'6" | SG Blackhawk Christian | 2024 State IN finished with a game-high 30 points for the Braves. Soloman Richard scored 25 points in the loss for Leo while Trey Hiteshew Trey Hiteshew 6'3" | PG Leo | 2024 State IN scored 22 points and Jackson McGee Jackson McGee 6'3" | PG Leo | 2024 State IN had 17 points.
Junior guard Carter Kent Carter Kent 6'0" | PG Jennings County | 2025 State IN scored 24 points as Jennings County knocked off Scottsburg 62-49. Kody Clancy Kody Clancy 6'4" | PG Scottsburg | 2024 State IN scored 20 points for the Warriors in the loss.
Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots as Heritage Hills defeated Princeton 67-52. Jace Jenkins Jace Jenkins 6'1" | SG Princeton | 2025 State IN scored 17 points in the loss while Edwin Holmes Edwin Holmes 6'5" | SF Princeton | 2026 State IN chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds.
6’7″ junior forward Cole Henry Cole Henry 6'7" | PF South Ripley | 2025 State IN poured in 37 points as South Ripley defeated Rising 81-42. Henry’s big game also put him over the 1,000 career point milestone.
Javawn Brooks Javawn Brooks 5'10" | PG Brebeuf | 2024 IN posted a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds in Brebeuf Jesuit’s 78-61 win over Tri-West.
Sophomore point guard Ethan Roseman Ethan Roseman 6'0" | PG Bishop Chatard | 2026 State IN scored 22 points to go with 6 rebounds and 7 assists, but Bishop Chatard came up short against Arsenal Tech 74-61.
