Expert Analysis
Kyler Staley | Prep Hoops Scout
Smith is a long guard at 6’6 and provides a very good wing option for Fort Wayne Blackhawk. His a nice pull up three but was not ass consistent shooting behind the arc when I watched him. Really like his quick trigger and ability to get a shot up at any time. On the defensive end, he really competes.

There are not a whole lot of shooters around the state of Indiana that have the proven track record of production that this Blackhawk Christian prospect has to his name. As a junior, the 6’5″ guard averaged 9.1 points per game while making 79 three-pointers at a 40% clip. He will take on a larger scoring role for the Braves this season which should allow for him to become more of a household name around the state. Look for the offers to continue to roll in for Smith as he has now broken into the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 50.

He might not be a household name yet in the state of Indiana, but he is absolutely one of the best pure shooters you’ll find in the Class of 2024. As a junior, Smith averaged 9.1 points per game for Blackhawk Christian on their way to a Class 2A state title while shooting 79-199 from three-point range. The 6’4″ guard is an elite catch-and-shoot threat with good size on the perimeter that started to attract some college interest this summer with Anchor Basketball Academy . He should step into a larger role for the Braves this winter. Smith makes his debut in our rankings at #69 in the class.
