This sophomore guard was a big bright spot in a tough loss to Monroe earlier this month and has been a high performing player all season for the Wildcats. He’s a guy that loves to get downhill with quick variations of perimeter moves to blow by defenders. He’s a lefty but showed no issue driving to either side and finishing with both hands too. He was cutting the Monroe defense up with his penetration and was able to get off some tough layups with good focus on the hoop while taking contact. He also dropped in a couple of outside shots and handled the ball a lot for his side.
Two weeks ago, Jackson played against then undefeated Glacier Peak and their gameplan was simple – stop Josiah Lee Josiah Lee 6’2″ | SG Glacier Peak | 2025 State WA . The man tasked with that job was sophomore point guard Seamus Williams Seamus Williams 6’0″ | PG Jackson | 2026 State WA . He was in full deny for much of the game, limiting the opposing guard to zero first half points. It was a very impressive effort from Williams and shows his competitive fire as well as his defensive prowess. With the effort, Williams helped Jackson win the game and vault themselves into first place in their league. Look out for this hardworking sophomore to keep raising his stock with performances like that.

Nagle was another guard from the Jan. 10 matchup with Jackson that showed a ton of toughness and promise. While their main offensive weapon was shut down in the first half, it was Nagle who stepped up to lead the charge. He was draining 3s, controlling the tempo on offense, and showed some real grit ripping down rebounds over much taller players. He also made some strong takes to the hoop, shifting the ball around swipes and taking it up into bigs at the rim. He’s another guard to watch who’s helping Glacier Peak inch toward a state tournament.

Ridgeline sits just a game out of the top four in the Greater Spokane 3A/4A league and 12-4 overall on the year. Their sophomore point guard, Caden Andreas Caden Andreas 5’7″ | PG Ridgeline | 2026 State WA has unquestionably been the driving force behind their impressive season. As of Jan. 13 he was the fourth leading scorer in the league at 18.8 a game, but he’s been much more than a bucket this year. I watched him take on Mead earlier this month and he was completely controlling the game with his passing. He can thread the tight windows, uses his eyes well to shift defenders in advantage situations, throws great entry passes to his bigs from all angles, and he can get inside with the dribble to draw over extra defenders. On top of all that, he seems to have a never-ending motor.
Prohn is a pretty quick guard who can get some things going off the dribble and handle the rock, but the biggest thing that stood out with his game was his shooting. This kid can flat out shoot. I saw him earlier this month and he hit three 3s from a few feet behind the line, one with a hand right in his face, one off the catch, and one off the dribble. He has some real talent to get his jumper to fall from various set ups and distances.
