Elijah Caldwell Elijah Caldwell 5'6" | PG St. Mary's Rutherford | 2027 State NJ , 5’6 PG St. Mary’s Rutherford
Caldwell has has a solid debut season for the Gaels as he’s shown the ability to run the offense effectively at times. The 5’6 guard has a lightning quick first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the rim. Caldwell rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and finds his open teammates in the halfcourt. He also has the ability to play off the ball and gets deflections on the defensive end. Caldwell is a speedy lead guard prospect whose ability to make plays with the ball in his hands will help his team in a big way in February.
Aidan Carter Aidan Carter 6'3" | SG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2027 State NJ , 6’3 SG St. Thomas Aquinas
Carter has had some big games for the Trojans this season and will be looking to carry it over into the next month. The 6’3 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact. Carter moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He is an underrated passer and has the length to multiple positions on the floor. Carter is a long guard prospect whose ability to score in the paint will help his stock in a big way.
Allan Gomez Allan Gomez 5'10" | PG Union City | 2027 State NJ , 5’9 PG Union City
Gomez has established himself as the Eagles’ secondary scorer and should continue to put up solid numbers in the backcourt in February. The 5’9 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Gomez plays with composure on the ball as he rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and threads passes to teammates in the halfcourt. He also has the ability to play off the ball and uses his quick hands to gets deflections on defense. Gomez has the potential to have a strong February as he can run the offense effectively and knock down triples from behind the arc.
Jayden Johnson Jayden Johnson 5'10" | CG Elizabeth | 2027 State NJ , 5’10 CG Elizabeth
Johnson has stepped up his game in a big way as he has three straight games of at least 10 points. The 5’10 guard has a good shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Johnson knows how to move without the ball in his hands and can also finish around the basket. He is an underrated rebounder and works hard on the defensive end. Johnson’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
Rocco Loomis Rocco Loomis 5'10" | PG Rutgers Prep | 2027 State NJ , 5’9 PG Rutgers Prep
Loomis has been steady for the Argonauts in the backcourt this season with his ability to stretch the floor. The 5’9 guard has a clean release on his jumper and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. Loomis can also put the ball on the floor and is unafraid of contact. He rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and moves his feet on defense. Loomis is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets from distance in February.
