This was a fun game to evaluate with such talented and deep rosters. Rosters filled with next-level prospects.

The #1 2025 in South Dakota is now listed at 6’10 and he’s lengthy as ever. At 6’10 he can run and move well. He started the game off hot, scoring all 14 of his points in the 1st half. He hit a corner three and a couple jumpers that someone 6’10 shouldn’t be hitting unless they’re a top prospect. Also rebounded, blocked and altered shots, and clearly made an impact in the paint. Has a D2 offer from Augustana University and the D1’s offers will be coming. MAJOR upside and a prospect I’ll be following closely.
Highlights
The Freshman was dialed into the starting 5 this game. The #1 ranked 2027 prospect did nothing but secure his ranking. Incredible movement and fluidity on the court. Played quick, handled the ball without mistake, got the offense moving off the dribble. Had some steals and deflections, one being a steal for a breakaway dunk that got the student section chanting, “He’s a Freshman!”. The youngster is ready and he’s only going to improve physically and on the court. Could emerge as a D1 talent if he continues to ascend in the right ways.
I’m the highest on Coop than anyone. The lefty 6’3 Sophomore 2-guard looks a little longer this year by the naked eye. He also has a knockdown three-ball and he showed that in this game. Smart player that values the ball and is a consistent shooter and playmaker. I think he keeps growing taller, physically. Easy D2 kid in my book.
Tate’s solid build still looks that way and he may have put on a little more size by my eye. He’s had better performances, but was clearly a standout on the court. Had some turnovers but hit some threes and was a difference-maker. Finished with 13 points in the game.
Cole was impressive. Probably the MVP of the game. Looked really quick and was nailing threes in rhythm, and off the dribble. Had a nice step-back three. Looked to be one of the quickest and most sudden guards in the state. He was able to easily get into the lane and by his defender to score or dish. A difficult matchup for Lennox, Snyder finished with a game-high 24 points on an efficient night.
Carson started out with some jitters I believe, with a couple early turnovers. But one of the top three-point shooters in the state later found his shot. 11 points in the contest. He showed he can handle the point no problem, as well being an efficient scorer off the ball.
Musser is a long wing at 6’6 that can hit an open three, which he did in this game. Good athlete at good size and one to watch. A valuable piece to Lennox and what they do. A next-level prospect that has NAIA offers in the state.
This is Boston’s first year with Lennox. He was a star as a QB on the football team. He’s a strong, physical guard that likes to attack defenders and use his body. Didn’t shoot the ball well but still scored the ball and was impactful rebounding, assisting, steals, and deflections. Had a knack for finding and coming up with the ball.
I hadn’t seen much of Jude until this matchup, but he impressed overall. One of the starting ball-handlers that has good size at 6’2 and has a skilled game that may be overlooked on such a stacked roster. He’s only a Junior and I believe he can play at the NAIA/D3 level.
Musser is only a Sophomore, but has some good upside with his length and athleticism. Very active overall and one that Prep Hoops Dakotas will be watching.
Layton got better and more impactful on the game as the game went on. Good size, was boarding the ball and getting to the rack for finishes. He was one of the top performers and most consistent prospects for Lennox.
Drake is an up-and-coming talent that saw the court, but not a lot in this game. You can see the length, athleticism, and tools that he possesses. More to come from the Freshman.
