Talk about upside, Tyler Dorsey Tyler Dorsey 6’5″ | C Saginaw Arthur Hill | 2025 State MI has it. He’s a smooth post player that could take his game to a whole new level. Dorsey put his skills on display in a win against Frankenmuth. He finished with 18 points, 6 boards, plus a handful of steals and blocks.
Whitaker is leaving his mark on the Reeths-Puffer basketball program. In last nights win against West Ottawa, he left a mark officially. Whitaker scored his 1000th point in the win.
Champagne has been a frequent flier in my articles. Why? Because he consistently plays his way on them. Champagne led his team to a tight 43-40 win against Rochester. He broke his personal career high with a 30 point game.
Menyweathers led the way in a win against Walled Lake Western. He scored 18 points, controlling the feel and flow of the game in the process. The quick footed guard seems poised for a big season.
Stelzer is a player to watch! He’s a tough matchup with his strength, power and ease of movement. He scored 20 points in Clinton’s win against Madison.
Turner is an underclassmen with loads of upside. He showed that he’s an athletic shooter that can play a lot bigger than his height. Turner finished with 20 points in the win against Madison.
Sobush is an electric guard that will give opponents headaches all season long. In a tight game against Summit Academy, he led them to a 58-55 victory. Sobush finished the game with 21 points and spread his name around the stat sheet with a couple assists, rebounds and steals.

Parker VanPeteghem Parker VanPeteghem SG Lawton | 2024 State MI
VanPeteghem is off to a hot start this season. Lawton defeated Gobles last night and VanPeteghem led the charges. He scored a game high 25 points.
Lance Stone Lance Stone 5’7″ | PG Detroit Renaissance | 2025 State #179 Nation MI looks like he may be playing himself in the national rankings discussion. He’s been the definition of efficient and this win against Pershing was a great example. Stone finished with 26 point going 8-9 from the field.

Wilson had a statement game in a statement win for Nouvel. The team won 58-51 against Hemlock while Wilson contributed with a 13 point and 17 rebound double-double.
Kangas’ team picked up a W against Manistique last night. Kangas dominated the action scoring 22 points and grabbing 18 boards. He showed the ability to attack inside-out as well as outside-in.

Parchment was outstanding in their win against Delton. They were led by fast footed Darius Baker Darius Baker 6’3″ | CG Parchment | 2024 State MI . Baker put his quickness and handles to use, leading his team with 21 points.
DeWitt looked really good in their win against Grosse Pointe North. Adam Flannery Adam Flannery 5’11” | PG DeWitt | 2024 State MI was a big reason why. He controlled the action, both scoring and distributing. Flannery finished the game with 24 points and 6 assists.
Lutheran Westland picked up a nice win against Cabrini. Senior star Christian Fontaine Christian Fontaine 6’4″ | SG Lutheran Westland | 2024 State MI was his electric self, scorching the nets for 28 points and also grabbing 8 boards.

Bailey is an elite wing with next level skills and strength. In an big win against Southgate, he delivered 17 points and 8 rebounds.

Larsen was lights out in a win against Clawson. While defense fuled the day in the 47-28 game, Larsen’s offense was the difference. He finished the game with 24 points.

McKenney showed why he’s considered one of the top prospects in the country last night. He finished with 26 points in a win against Old Redford. McKenney showed that he could score from all over the floor and in a variety of ways.
