We're previewing the OHSAA season with the top teams in each Division. After previewing the top 10 teams in Division IV we started the top 5 in Division III and continue with our 6-10th ranked teams in this article.

6. Minford

After a regular season unbeaten against in-state opponents, Minford had a disappointing ending to their season in a playoff loss. Junior duo [player_tooltip player_id='1432013' first='Myles' last='Montgomery'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1888322' first='Bennett' last='Kayser'] are back and they'll once again be looking to dominate the SOC.

7. Harvest Prep

Another trip to the final four for Harvest Prep, they return some talented guards with [player_tooltip player_id='1432008' first='Brandon' last='Roddy'] as their leader. [player_tooltip player_id='1675745' first='Khalil' last='Daniels'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1353043' first='Adonus' last='Abrams'] also provide size and shooting on the wings. Always playing one of the toughest non-conference schedules in Division III, Harvest Prep will once again be challenged thoroughly this winter.

8. Wayne Trace

Winners of one of the craziest district finals last season, Wayne Trace returns star [player_tooltip player_id='1421141' first='Brooks' last='Laukhuf'] who is already committed to Ohio Dominican. The Raiders had some impressive wins at the end of the year taking their last seven games prior to a playoff loss to powerhouse Ottawa Glandorf. With the best player on the floor most games, they'll always have a chance.

9. Malvern

After a 21-1 regular season and returning seniors J'Allen Barrino and [player_tooltip player_id='1950569' first='Mitchell' last='Minor'], Malvern has one of the top small-town teams in the state. With that duo back, Malvern has another chance to win 20+ regular season games.

10. Martins Ferry

After starting the season 18-1, Martins Ferry struggled down the stretch but have a chance to start fresh with [player_tooltip player_id='1952004' first='Alex' last='Reese'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2428200' first='Anthony' last='Booth'] taking bigger roles this winter. If they can recreate the success they had early in the season, they'll stay in our top 10 this season.
