Continue ReadingWisconsin continues to be a breeding ground for promising high school prospects and the 2025 recruiting class is no exception. As mentioned in an earlier article, the 2025 recruiting class has the potential to produce 20+ players with a Division I offer. By my count, 17 different prospects already hold a Division I offer. While the guards have dominated recent headlines, it’s time to shift our attention to the dynamic wings making noise on the hardwood. Here are the 2025 wings who hold a mid-major offer that other programs should monitor. Stay tuned for the next article that will cover wings earning mid-major interest that may soon receive their first Division I offer.

Trevor Polite had a strong sophomore season averaging 11.2 pts, 7 reb, 2.6 ast, and 1.2 stl to help lead Homestead to the conference championship. He picked up two early offers and the list of interested schools continues to grow. When it comes to wings, most people attribute these players as 3-and-D guys, but that’s not Polite’s mold right now. Polite is a slasher and off ball play finisher via his ability to cut, which often results in a dunk or high percentage finish around the rim. The shot is improving, but he’s not a three-level scorer just yet. He can play with his back to the basket and make plays for others. His ability to hit open pockets in transition, out of the pick-and-roll, post, and on the perimeter is truly impressive. It’s so impressive that Polite may be considered the best passing wing in the state.
Offers: UW-Milwaukee
Watchlist: Western Michigan, George Washington, Furman, Illinois State, Indiana State, UW-Green Bay, South Dakota State, & Iona
Dominican High School has produced a handful of well respected prospects in the last few years including Alex Antetokounmpo, Kostas Antetokounmpo, Duane Wilson, and Diamond Stone. Aaron Womack Aaron Womack 6’3″ | SF Dominican | 2025 State #228 Nation WI is next in line after a big sophomore year that saw him average 19.3 pts, 7.2 reb, 2.6 ast, 1.2 stl, and 2 blk per game. He’s one of the better stretch wing prospects after shooting 37.9% 3P on 2.3 3PM per game. He’s got a quick, high release jumper that allows him to shoot off the catch and dribble. He can score on ball and off ball, as well as inside and out. As a lengthy prospect with great positional size, he’s a plus defender that can give you stocks, especially with help side rim protection. Womack is a prospect that will continue to add offers throughout the next two seasons.

Jaydon Awe is one of the better kept secrets in Wisconsin high school basketball. He’s a star player at Division 5 Pacelli located in Stevens Point; home of Sam Hauser (Boston Celtics) and Joey Hauser (Ontario Clippers). As a sophomore, he averaged 17.4 pts, 16 reb, 2.8 ast, 1.9 stl, and 5 blk per game. Simply put, he fills up the stat sheet and makes his impact felt all over the court. Standing at 6’9″/6’10” and playing at a Division 5 school has its pros and cons, but nevertheless, Awe was a monster on the boards and as a defender last year. He had 7 games with 20+ rebounds and 3 games with 10+ blocks, including a quintuple-double of 18 pts, 13 reb, 10 ast, 11 stl, and 10 blk. Awe is raw and a developmental project for programs. You can’t teach his size. The shot isn’t there yet and the handle continues to develop, but he’s a prospect to monitor these next two seasons.
