<p>The first game of the event features a Hawken squad with some intriguing young talent like [player_tooltip player_id='1705959' first='Daron' last='Hill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2113257' first='Gregory' last='Price'] looking to continue to build up a program on the rise. They take on a Buckeye squad who joined a more competitive conference a few seasons prior and are looking to establish themselves after sending some prospects to small college programs recently.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Saint Edward Vs NDCL 12:35 P.M.</h2>

<p>Saint Edward played at this event last season and won a hard-fought game without some of their multi-sport athletes. This year the football state championship weekend is prior to this event as the Eagles will look to win their third consecutive state championship with a couple names the basketball fans will recognize. Saint Edward always has a deep roster and will rely on a senior core that includes [player_tooltip player_id='1383253' first='Wendell' last='Henry'], [player_tooltip player_id='1421136' first='Brian' last='Sullivan Jr'], the Kulacz twins and more. NDCL is led by [player_tooltip player_id='2138688' first='Evan' last='Dugger'], who made an all-state team as a Junior.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Toledo St John's Vs Cleveland Rhodes 2:10 P.M.</h2>

<p>Toledo St John's played at this event last season and ended their season in the final four in Dayton. After graduating some key pieces, it's a new look team for the Titans. [player_tooltip player_id='1679929' first='Jaylen' last='Murphy'] brings some senior experience back alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2225037' first='Jayden' last='Jones'] who is a breakout candidate. Their potential star is Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1827695' first='Race' last='Kowalczyk'] who had an excellent summer. They'll face a Rhodes team that won the senate league last season and will be led by [player_tooltip player_id='1819387' first='Antwon' last='Reynolds'] after losing [player_tooltip player_id='1373988' first='Kenyon' last='Giles'] to Maple Heights.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Berea Midpark Vs Gilmour Academy 3:45 P.M.</h2>

<p>Berea Midpark have a duo of football athletes in [player_tooltip player_id='1711542' first='Austin' last='Clay'] (Bowling Green commit) and Devyn Zahursky (Cincinnati commit) to lead their charge on the Hardwood. Gilmour has been one of the top Division II programs in the state over the past two seasons but graduated one of their best senior classes. </p>

<p>The penultimate game of the day puts two strong girls programs against each other. Olmsted Falls is coming off a state runner up in Division I last season.</p>

<p>The final game of the day puts Brunswick against Olmsted Falls in what should be a high scoring contest. Olmsted Falls played a thriller last year against Benedictine and are looking to come back with another victory this year. They'll take on a Brunswick squad that's projected to be one of the best in northeast Ohio with Division II commits [player_tooltip player_id='1708729' first='Tommy' last='Morgan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2047487' first='Quinn' last='Barnett'] alongside sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1708688' first='Trey' last='Drexler'].</p>
