Some of the names on this list have already starting to make that turn and are geared for huge All State type junior years. While others are knocking on the door of trading their potential for production.
After a breakout sophomore year, the table is set for the Mustang Bronco to be one of top scorers in the state. He’s at his best in iso situations, where he mixes what’s becoming a smooth stepback from three and midrange, with the ability to hang in the air and hit tough shots on drives.
Promising signs for his overall game have also come on the defensive end. Miller is blessed with a huge wingspan, when he locks in he can be very disruptive to passing lanes and even in rim protection. Now as a junior and leader for the Broncos it’s on Miller to bring it every night. If he does that, the sky is the limit.

The Lawton Wolverine has quickly developed from an athletic perimeter shooter with promise to signs that he could be among the best players in the state. His frame is starting to fill out and with a quick first step to match, he can be a freight train on drives. A freight train that can also explode vertically, as he’s sure to have some of the biggest highlight slams of this upcoming season. He remains one of the better shooters in the class, capable of hitting off the dribble or when spotting up. With what seems to be a strong hunger to get better, Vaisagote is set up to turn heads this winter as potentially one of the top players in Oklahoma.
Another athletic guard prospect coming into his own, Brown has always passed the eye test with the ease that he moves. He’s a glider type athlete, who eats up ground effortlessly and seemingly always can get by his man in transition. Viewings this past summer also indicated he’s adding another important facet to his athletic profile. Explosiveness. There were moments of exciting above the rim play at both ends of the court, that hint he is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. Brown has all the tools to be among the best off the dribble attackers in Oklahoma.
A potential inside-outside threat, at a recent viewing with his new program (Grind Prep) Alsup attacked the basket on post ups and rebounds with renewed energy. Alsup blends an improving back to the basket game to take advantage of mismatches near the rim, with the framework to a be a floor spacing hybrid forward thanks to the ability to hit from distance. Right now he’s at his best defensively using his plus wingspan and size to battle around the basket, but showed signs of improving footspeed and a willingness to cover quicker players on the ball. If Alsup continues to improve his jumper and becomes more fluid as an athlete, he can be one of the most versatile players in Oklahoma’s Class of 2025.

A quick and lanky combo guard, Simpson flashed upside as a sophomore. Now as a junior he’s looking to put together a complete season with potentially improved shooting to match his off the dribble driving ability. The Booker T Washington has a slippery way in how he navigates through defenders when attacking the rim, with quality change of direction handles and body control. Simpson projects as one of the better guards in 5A this season, with the chance to develop into a big time scorer off the dribble.
With an athletic and strong frame, Cotton will be stepping in a huge role for the tradition rich Tulsa Memorial program. He’s one of the few players with returning experience on the perennial powerhouse, and has the profile and upside to develop into a regular double-double threat. A recent viewing of Cotton indicated that he can be one of the better athletes in the class, as he’s quick off he floor and with power to match a high motor playing style. He’s the type of prospect that if the light comes on for him, look for him to be much higher in the next set of rankings and become a priority target for regional small colleges.
