Besides getting some of the area’s top talent under one roof you also get to see some matchups that you might not get to see in the regular season. MAS comes out from the city, powerhouses of Arrowhead & Pewaukee can be seen, Oshkosh North has come down to play, a team or two from Madison might join, and down the list it goes. Today we saw Marquette High School’s Nolan Minessale Nolan Minessale 6'5" | SF Marquette | 2024 State WI go up against Homestead’s Tim Franks Tim Franks 6'5" | SG Homestead | 2024 State WI , both of whom are University of St. Thomas commits.
It is also a place that Wisconsin’s or other area Division 3 schools can come to get a jump on recruiting for seasons to come.
Some in attendance: Wisconsin Lutheran, UW-White Water, UW- LaCrosse , Carrol College, Green Bay, Concordia out of IL.
Then Prep Hoops had three scouts in attendance and a UW-Madison beat writer has been known to show up.
Below are some of the players that impressed for week two.

Hadn’t seen a lot of Nick Janowski Nick Janowski 6'3" | SG Pewaukee | 2024 State #126 Nation WI play this summer, the timing was always off, but he still impresses. Leadership was the first thing I thought of when I was watching his game against Arrowhead. He was directing traffic a lot and coaching up his young teammates. Oh, and then true to fashion he let everyone know he is the same Nick Janowski Nick Janowski 6'3" | SG Pewaukee | 2024 State #126 Nation WI as always by hitting a few contested hand in his face threes. Excited about how he caps off his tremendous high school career.
Steve Clark was Steve Clark on the day. That means he is going to play hard where he hits timely shots on his opponents, whether they are deep threes or his patented turn around fad away. In one of his two games he went for at least 22 pts to lead his team which 1-1 on the day.
Xzavion Mitchell Xzavion Mitchell 6'6" | SF Oshkosh North | 2025 State #119 Nation WI : we all know that this prospect produces, but what got me today, is it is looking like he is adding some handles and a perimeter shot to his game as well, hitting multiple 3s on the day.
Trey Resch Trey Resch 6'2" | CG Arrowhead | 2027 State WI : The freshman guard handle himself well on the day. It was reported that in his first game he scored 14 pts in a win. In the game I watched, a tough matchup against Pewaukee he impressed as well. Think that he plays a good style of ball where he is a pace setter on offense, he’ll hit a shot or two, and then plays hard on the defensive end.
Jalen Brown Jalen Brown 6'5" | SF Wauwatosa West | 2027 State WI : This 2027 prospect doesn’t look like a freshman, nor does he play like a typical freshman. he was leading his short manned Tosa West team and doing a very solid job. He has a knack for getting to the free throw line. Look for him to get a starting nod once the season starts for Tosa West varsity. His size and demeanor fills an empty point guard slot really nicely for them.
Matt “MJ’ Kloskey: I’m starting to really like this young one’s approach to the game. He plays hard and developing into a player that you have to account for on the court. If you give him a step because you’re late to cover the rotation he is going to go hard to the hoop. If you don’t box out, he is going to get that timely board that put daggers in your heart. Look for him to get plenty of starter or 6-man minutes at Tosa West this season.
