This event brings some of the best players in the NWO area under one roof for college coaches to come to watch them compete against each other. This article will talk about one of the eight rosters made up of eight players who will be at the event.
This red team is made up of some great size, length, and skill. I expect this team to be one of the few teams at the event that will look like they all go to high school together because they all know how to play the game the right way. The ball will be moving, the right plays will be made all day, and this team will play hard! The guard from Antwerp Landon Brewer Landon Brewer 6'5" | SG Antwerp | 2024 State OH will be the one controlling the ball for this team. This kid is a flat-out scorer from all three levels who will be joined by two very good-sized wings that bring different tools to the table with Findlay’s Will Cordonnier and Lima Senior’s Jagger Hutchins Jagger Hutchins 6'6" | PF Lima Sr | 2025 State OH . They also will have an incoming freshman guard who can play the point for this team as he plays years ahead, Antwoine Minster. Then the man in the middle is listed as the tallest player in the event, Logan Horton Logan Horton 6'9" | C Toledo St Francis | 2025 State OH . Then they have 3 more guards that round out the team nicely, Sophomore Beckett Bertke, Junior Isaiah “Boog” Wilson from Lima Senior, and the Senior Wildcat Drew Barnesky Drew Barnesky 6'0" | SG Sylvania Northview | 2024 State OH . This team will be a fun and interesting team to watch. Continue to read to get an in-depth analysis of each player.
Brewer is a guard going into his senior year that tore it up last year at this event. As I walked the sideline, I got stopped multiple times to talk about Brewer. His team went undecided, and he might’ve scored the most points of any player the whole day. He straight-up knows how to put the ball in the rim. He is a certified three-level scorer. His ability to shoot off the dribble, on the move, and catch-n-shoot from beyond the arc. He has an incredibly quick shot. His midrange pull-up game is very old-school. He has a high elevation and leans back away from the defense making his shot almost uncontestable. Then when he gets to the rim, he knows how to finish at a very efficient level no matter what the defense does. This kid is tough to stop, and I expect him to have another big outing on October 1st.
Highlights
Hutchins is going to bring the ability to stretch the floor for this Red Team. He is a certified sharpshooter. He is someone you can not leave him open. He is someone who is aggressive when seeking his shot but knows how to get it. He has a high IQ that always allows him to get open. He plays the game the right way. Hutchins is a very big kid as well. He is listed at 6’6 and has a strong build and body. He is affective with using it as well. Does a great job of using his length the stay in front of quicker guards and uses his size to bang with bigger players in the post.
Cordonnier is a player that will get some colleges attention at the Toledo Top 64 this year. He is a good-sized wing with really good athleticism. He’s got good leaping ability, long, and moves extremely well. His defensive ability is something that is very good. He plays very hard on that end of the floor. He can guard almost every position on the floor. He also a great slasher on the offensive end. He knows when and how to attack the rim. Once you back off him, he can make you pay as well because if you leave him open, he will know the shot down from beyond the arc.

Logan Horton Logan Horton 6’9″ | C Toledo St Francis | 2025 State OH is listed as the tallest player in the event, and he is one big kid. He is extremely tall as he is listed at 6’10. With that height some great tools come with that. He is very long player, and he moves well. My first time watching him play was last year at this event and I could only think to myself his potential being through the roof. He plays with a very high motor. His effort is never in question. He puts the ball in the rim with either hand when he is around it. He is such a big kid that it’s difficult to stop him from getting to his spot. He gets a ton of rebounds. Someone that will catch your eye at the event.
I’ve only seen Minster play one time and I am big fan of his game. He is the type of kid I want to build my team around. He is a phenomenal athlete. He is quick with good speed. Even though he is not the tallest he has a good-sized body that shows his good strength. He handles contact very well for a kid that has not played a high school game yet. He is great in transition at getting to the rim and finding teammates. His passing ability is something I love. He makes sure everyone around will get the ball. He is a lockdown defender. He is not scared to guard anyone. He applies great on ball pressure. Minster will be someone I’ll make sure to be watching at the event.

Isaiah “Boog” Wilson
Isaiah “Boog” Wilson
Wilson is as solid as they come. He will never make a mistake and, just like everyone that plays for Coach Q, he is a good defender and has extremely high effort. He is a good athlete that showcases it on the defensive end. He has great on ball pressure and anticipation. He is quick enough to guard any guard you throw at him. His motor is off the charts. On the offense he rarely turns the ball over or forces anything. He is smart when to be aggressive and when not to be. He is a good finisher and can knock down a shot when he is left open.
Barnesky is someone that surprised me last year at the Top 64. This kid can play! Just good feel and control of the game. He a patient point guard that just knows how to run the offense. His scoring ability is very affective as well. He won’t ever force it unless he must. When he does get aggressive, he is someone that just put the ball in the rim. He is a very good shooter off the dribble with pull ups. Once he sees the ball go in a couple times his confidence starts to rise.
