Barnett is quick and shifty. He makes up for his lack of height with a high basketball IQ and willingness to pass the ball when he doesn’t have a wide open look for himself. Nick played hard all day long and showed that he’s more than capable of being a productive player for CAL this season and getting on radars for D3 schools.

Marr has been one of my favorite players in the class for a year or more and did nothing to change that opinion on Saturday. Jayden is a very effective scorer who is very comfortable pulling up and scoring in the midrange. He has a throwback game and played hard all day long thanks to the stamina that he has from being a good cross country runner.
Gage showed why he’s one of the top scoring guards in the third region on Saturday. Phelps is a confident scorer from all over the court. He drew some interest from a couple of schools over the course of the day and should be primed for a big Senior season for the Panthers.
I feel like I’ve seen Luke so much lately that I’m running out of things to say about him. One thing for sure is that he is very athletic and bouncy at 6’2. A strong guard, Beickman is capable of playing a little bully ball at times and get to the rim and he’s a good enough shooter that opposing guards have to respect it.
Harmon made the trip from Illinois on Saturday and had a good showing. Capable of running a team or spotting up and knocking down shots, Will is a player who takes multiple viewings to appreciate everything he does for his team. He impacts winning in a lot of ways, even in a camp setting like this past Saturday.

Sims is like many players who came from Western Kentucky Saturday in the sense that it was the first time getting eyes on him. Luke showed he’s a knockdown shooter and more than capable as a ball handler. His team was loaded with guards so he didn’t play the point a ton but he played well enough to show he needs to be in the next rankings update for 2025.
Highlights
Hayden is known for his scoring ability and has been one of the top scorers in the 2025 class for a while now. On Saturday he also showed improved rebounding (especially out of area rebounds) and a willingness to push the pace with the ball in his hands after a rebound. Blakeman also has slimmed down a little and is moving better on the defensive end.
Hanke had a good showing overall on Saturday. He shot the ball well and showcased an improved ability to handle the ball. Will has always played with a good motor and this camp was no different. Between his academics, his size (legit 6’5) and his skill set, Hanke will be a steal for some school down the line.
Eli is another kid I’ve seen repeatedly in the last 6 months or so and the one thing I really admire about him is how consistent he is. You know when he shows up that you’re going to get every ounce of effort Johnson can give you. A multi level scorer, Eli played on and off the ball Saturday and was effective at both. his basketball IQ is very high and you can see why he’s been one of the best point guards in the mountains for years now.

Perhaps the biggest breakout star of the event, Henry plays for one of the smallest schools in Kentucky and would fit in playing with any of the biggest. The Villa Madonna product is big at 6’8 and versatile. He’s confident in his shooting and can make plays at his size. Comfortable with the ball in his hands on the wing or posting up on the block, Thole definitely raised some eyebrows with his play on Saturday.
