A tough guard who makes his presence felt on both ends of the court, Calloway was a major impact player on Nova’s 15 U group this spring and summer that was one of the top teams on the UA Rise circuit. His best weekend came at the Bill Hensley Run N Slam where his diverse scoring ability was on full display. A crafty below the rim finisher, Calloway is shifty with impressive burst and change of direction. A good shooter from the outside as well, he can knock down shots off the bounce or catch from 3-point range. Should have a breakout winter in central Ohio with Bishop Hartley, as they look to reclaim the CCL title with a strong returning core.
Before going down with a serious injury this summer, Addy was making his name known with All Ohio Sumner in spring EYBL sessions. A great on ball defender, Addy’s defensive pressure is his best skill and right now he’s one of the toughest perimeter defenders in Ohio’s 2026 class. Able to set the table and find his teammates, Addy will be a perfect fit for a Quincey Simpson coached team with his defensive tenacity and old school guard capabilities. Hope to see Addy make a full recovery and back on the floor making a positive impact!
Another prospect who played on a circuit this summer was Reaves who played with Phenom United’s 15 U squad. I caught Reaves for the first time in Rock Hill and was impressed with his ability to push the pace with his speed. A couple steals and transition finishes plus the high motor that he plays with means Reaves will fit right in with high pressure up-tempo systems. Reaves also knocked down a key 3-pointer to take the lead with 40 seconds left in a 3SSB game down in Rock Hill that I caught, showing the ability to hit a big time shot. One of the more talented underclassmen guards from the Dayton area.
Undersized but Hatfield is the most talented isolation creator on this list. The ability to hit pull-up jumpers and tough shots from the perimeter is something that’s very valuable and few are better than Hatfield at those skills. Able to use his burst to create space off the bounce, Hatfield also showed the ability to draw the defense to him with his scoring ability and find the open man. For Hatfield, physical development and becoming an impact defender will be the keys to unlocking his ceiling as a guard prospect.
