1. Zach Kinziger Zach Kinziger 6'3" | SG De Pere | 2025 State #127 Nation WI (De Pere)
Kinziger could fall under the combo guard category, but think he’s at his best when he’s hunting his own defense, particularly as a sniper off the ball. Part of De Pere’s 30-0 state championship squad last season, Kinziger averaged 15 points and three assists per game next to a pair of Divison 1 prospects, including his older brother. Kinziger, who is headed to Wisconsin in two years, is a crafty, high-IQ scorer that does his work early off the ball and is arguably the best in the state at reading/adapting to coverage on the fly.
2. Chris Davis Jr. (Sun Prairie West)
One of the biggest risers in the state right now, Davis had a big spring and summer on the travel circuit. A mix between a sniper and a slasher, Davis pairs in the gym range as a shooter with an aggressive downhill mindset. Davis put up 24 points per game as a sophomore for Sun Prairie West in their inaugural season. He’s since landed a few Division 1 offers as well.
3. Jake Hansen Jake Hansen 6'1" | SG Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #331 Nation WI (Wauwatosa West)
One of the state’s premier shooters, Hansen averaged 15 points per game as Tosa West won its first-ever Greater Metro Conference title last season. The 6-foot-1 junior is a dangerous catch-and-shoot threat that plays exceptionally well off dribble penetration. A guy that gets the green light whenever he wants, Hansen can rip off early offense 3-pointers, especially in transition. In 26 games, Hansen connected on 73 triples.
4. Cooper Jesperson Cooper Jesperson 6'2" | SG Eau Claire Memorial | 2025 State WI (Eau Claire Memorial)
A skilled, smooth shooter with a quick stroke, Jesperson is lighting in a bottle at times. Jesperson forces defenders to stay attached at all times as he can operate without much space to work with. While he’s a little undersized, Jesperson is a threat inside the arc as well. He’s a good finisher with either hand, can change his shot types on the go, and score with excellent touch over shot blockers. Not only id Jesperson hit 74 3-pointers last season, he also added five rebounds and five assists per game.
5. Jack Lutz Jack Lutz 6'0" | SG Whitnall | 2025 State WI (Whitnall)
Lutz led Whitnall in scoring last season as the Falcons reached the Division 2 state title game. He might not look the part, but Lutz is a dangerous three-level scorer with a really strong mid-range game. The 6-foot guard has a crafty, high-IQ game that allows him to score against athletes. He puts it on the deck and beat defenders with step-backs, reverse pivots, and change of pace. When Lutz gets it going offensively, there’s a noticeable killer instinct about his game.

6. Javantae Edwards Javantae Edwards 6'0" | SG Milwaukee Carmen | 2025 State WI (Carmen Northwest)
Edwards is one of the best isolation scorers in Wisconsin. You give him the ball on an island, that’s not an ideal scenario for a defender. Edwards is a skilled, athletic, plus-length guard with burst on the ball. He can hit you with a deep triple if you don’t pick him up or blow right by you if you’re too close. A fearless attacker at the rim as well, Edwards averaged 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game for a 20-4 Carmen Northwest squad last season.
7. Carter Wollan Carter Wollan 6'3" | SG Amery | 2025 State WI (Amery)
Wollan had a monster season as a sophomore, going off for 27 points, eight rebounds, and five assists per game. Wollan knocked down a whopping 101 3-pointers as well. A good mix of strength and athleticism, Wollan has strong positional size and measurables at 6-foot-4. He’s a sneaky athlete when he gets a lane to the rim or up and down in transition. Wollan showed in the summer he can impact the game in a variety of ways and doesn’t have to be just a scorer. He’ll rebound, defend, and make hustle plays when there’s more talent around him.

8. Jeremiah Johnson Jeremiah Johnson 6'3" | SG Marquette | 2025 State WI (Marquette)
A long, lanky shooter and two-way player, Johnson is still just scratching the surface. He’s got a very intriguing frame as a 6-foot-3 guard with long arms and a body that won’t fill out until he gets into a collegiate strength and conditioning program. Johnson gave a good Marquette squad six points per game as a sophomore. Right now, his role is to knock down open 3’s and give his teams a defensive presence. Think there’s a lot more in store for the future, however.
9. Tre Poteat Tre Poteat 6'1" | SG Verona | 2025 State WI (Verona)
Poteat isn’t a prospect, in basketball at least. He’s one of the top cornerbacks in the country with a national offer list already. On the hardwood, Poteat can play too. If he focused solely on hoops, he might be top five on this list given his size and measurables. A fierce competitor with a knack for the big shot, Poteat put up 16 points per game for Verona in 2022-23.
10. Isaiah Robinson Isaiah Robinson 6'1" | SG Pewaukee | 2025 State WI (Pewaukee)
A prospect we expect to be more known next season, Robinson was a key contributor during Pewaukee’s state title run a year ago. Playing alongside two high major prospects, Robinson averaged seven points per game for the Pirates while shooting 49 percent from the field, including 45 percent from downtown. Robinson has a solid mid-range pull-up game and can score in isolation. He’s also a tenacious defender that wants to check the other team’s best player and buys in on that end of the floor.
