has proven himself as an elite all-around basketball player. Last season, he scorched the nets for an outstanding 24.2 points per game with a 44.7% field goal percentage, showcasing his exceptional scoring ability.
His game goes well beyond offensive output, however. Wollan has excellent game feel and instincts, both of which he utilizes to be a complete and team-oriented player. He displayed dominance on the boards with 8.5 rebounds per game, while his 3.3 assists per game highlighted his skill as a crafty and smart passer. He is a tenacious defender, which was evident last season as he logged 2.2 steals per game and consistently impacted opponents as a strong shot blocker. At 6’3″, he combines offensive versatility with exceptional defensive instincts. Look for him to have another big year for the Warriors, before he heads south to La Crosse to continue to his journey as a dynamic, high character athlete.

One of the state’s most prolific scorers in the 2025 class, Wollan is back for his fourth year of varsity competition at Amery. A vocal leader who handles the ball well and gets to the basket with the best of them, Wollan averaged 24.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists as a junior. Amery won just 11 games last winter, but the Warriors hopes to turn things around in a big way this time around as four starters return alongside Wollan in his younger brother, sophomore

Wollan might not have the scoring impact he’s had in the past during his senior season. Why? Because he has some talented players now competing alongside him, including his brother, Keaton, an athletic and productive 6-foot-3 sophomore who averaged 16.3 ppg as a freshman. Still,

most certainly can put up points and do so in a hurry. He begins his fourth year of varsity basketball at Amery with 1,646 points. At 6-foot-3 and with excellent physical strength, Wollan is a threat to score each time he touches the ball. And with his likely move to point guard as a senior, he will have the ball in his hands on almost every possession. Wollan scored 629 points as a junior after dropping 681 points as a sophomore. His ability to penetrate and then elevate to score over bigger defenders is one of his biggest assets.

Carter showed every bit of what it takes to be a highly ranked player in Wisconsin’s 2025 class during the WBY Tournament. He is a determined player who plays both ends of the court well. But he really shines with the ball in his hands. He’s got an excellent handle and combines that with quickness on the perimeter to blow-by opponents and attack the rim. From there he uses his solid 6’3″ frame to finish through contact. Defenders can’t give him cushion to try to slow his penetration, because he will knock down (deep) three’s if they do. He hit 8-10 from the line in the game I watched, so fouling on the drive isn’t wise either. All-in-all, he averaged 30 ppg on Saturday, which led all scorers.
