10. Grant Clayton Grant Clayton 6'7" | C AC Reynolds | 2025 State NC – 6’7 – AC Reynolds High School
Grant Clayton Grant Clayton 6'7" | C AC Reynolds | 2025 State NC returns for AC Reynolds High looking to do more work in the frontcourt as he heads into his junior season. He was a solid piece for them in 2022-23 as he posted 7.3 PPG, 5.5 RPG and 1.1 BPG as a presence in the frontcourt. He’ll look to show his growth as a finisher in traffic and defender in the paint this season as a target for DII and DIII programs to get eyes on.
9. Levon Jacobs Levon Jacobs 6'9" | C Davidson Day | 2025 State NC – 6’9 – Davidson Day School
Levon Jacobs Levon Jacobs 6'9" | C Davidson Day | 2025 State NC is a name to get to know out of the Davidson area in the state of North Carolina. He spent this past season at West Rowan High and looks to really challenge the NCISAA this season. He’s a prospect at 6-foot-8 who’s shown he can operate at either forward spot and in the painted area given his skill set. He’ll be an interesting addition to the Davidson Day rotation in 2023-24.

Grant Overman Grant Overman 6'8" | C Willow Spring | 2025 State NC is a name to keep an eye on on a budding Willow Spring High program given his ability to rebound and alter shots around the painted area. He finished his sophomore season with 5.6 PPG, 5.6 RPG and 1.8 BPG and continues to develop as well in the Strong Center program on the grassroots scene. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs to get eyes given his development on the hardwood.
7. Jake Cackovic Jake Cackovic 6'7" | C Holly Springs | 2025 State NC – 6’7 – Holly Springs High School
Jake Cackovic Jake Cackovic 6'7" | C Holly Springs | 2025 State NC is an emerging name to get to know out of the Cary area with Holly Springs High. He was a solid reserve for them off the bench this past season and grew tremendously with Strong Center on the grassroots stage this past spring/summer. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs to start tracking early given what he can do on the floor as a presence in the frontcourt.
6. Zach Peterson Zach Peterson 6'9" | C Asheville Christian Academy | 2025 State NC – 6’9 – Asheville Christian Academy
Zach Peterson Zach Peterson 6'9" | C Asheville Christian Academy | 2025 State NC is a name to get to know with Asheville Christian Academy out of the Western part of North Carolina. He’s a prospect who can stretch the floor with his ability to rebound the floor and knock down shots at the stretch-center spot. He’s come along well in the NLPB WNC Elite rotation this grassroots cycle and is due for a breakout season with ACA in 2023-24.
5. Najai Hines Najai Hines 6'9" | C South Garner | 2025 State NC – 6’9 – South Garner High School
Najai Hines Najai Hines 6'9" | C South Garner | 2025 State NC is a name that college programs should get eyes on this season for South Garner High. He was a productive member on the JV squad this past season and showed his growth as a high-level two-way presence for Big Business Ballers on the grassroots scene this summer. He’s a name to get to know given his upside and potential this season out of the Raleigh area.
4. Chris Eagan Chris Eagan 6'8" | PF Charlotte Catholic | 2025 State NC – 6’8 – Charlotte Catholic High School
Chris Eagan Chris Eagan 6'8" | PF Charlotte Catholic | 2025 State NC is an active center-forward presence who’s due for a strong season at Charlotte Catholic High in 2023-24. He recently earned an offer from Presbyterian College as he continues to show his growth and development as an athletic rim-runner and rim-protector. He plays with a ton of energy with his ability to fly around and make things happen on the floor. He’s set to play a much bigger role on the varsity stage after putting up 5.6 PPG and 2.9 RPG as a sophomore.

Kaden Hammond Kaden Hammond 6'8" | PF The Burlington School | 2025 State NC is an underrecruited name in North Carolina’s 2025 class given what he can do on the hardwood. He had a stellar showing on the EYBL scene this past season with Team CP3. He’s an impressively patient forward prospect who understands how to take what the defense gives him. He utilizes his size and frame in the painted area to battle on the boards and make things happen in space. He’s a name to buy stock in at the center role this season.

Preston Copeland Preston Copeland 6'8" | C St. David's | 2025 State #346 Nation NC is a name that continues to grow in the 2025 class at the center role. He’s a prospect at 6-foot-9 who’s developed his ability to be a two-way presence and utilize his athleticism to operate around the rim and painted area. He was a pivotal piece with Raleigh Christian Academy this past season, producing 7.2 PPG, 5.4 RPG and 1.2 BPG. As he continues to develop and draw in offers, he’s a name to get to know in the state of North Carolina.

Gevonte Ware Gevonte Ware 6'9" | C 1 of 1 Academy | 2025 State #150 Nation NC is a name that should grow a lot more on the national scene from North Carolina’s 2025 class given his skill set on the floor. He’s a versatile forward-center presence that’s capable of operating in a variety of ways with his strong frame, length and ability to protect the rim and finish around the rim. He’s developed nicely in the 1 of 1 Elite Rare frontcourt alongside Tayeshaun Smith Tayeshaun Smith 6'7" | PF 1 of 1 Academy | 2025 State #252 Nation NC with his ability to work in the painted area. He holds a number of D1 offers already from the likes of High Point, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Texas A&M and others. He’s one to keep an eye on with 1 of 1 Academy this season.
