He’s a prospect who can protect the rim with purpose as well as finish with authority offensively out of Asheville Christian Academy. He can really stretch the floor with his range shooting the ball. He’ll continue his career at the next level at Navy University in the Patriot League.

Peterson is a versatile forward prospect to get to know with NLPB Next Level Prospects Basketball . He does a tremendous job of moving without the ball in his hands and works to stay involved in the play at all times with his ability to both rebound and knock down shots beyond the painted area. He’s a sizeable name for DII and DIII programs to get to know in the 2025 class.

Peterson is a 6-foot-9 emerging force to be reckoned with in the Asheville Christian Academy rotation in the NCISAA. He’s got an intriguing motor with his ability to alter shots around the rim defensively and offensively, he continues to produce as a stretch-forward presence after shooting 40 percent from behind the arc given his mobility and versatility. He’ll be a name to watch with WNC Elite this grassroots cycle.

Zach Peterson Zach Peterson 6'9" | PF Asheville Christian | 2025 State NC is a sizeable name to get to know on the Watch List out of Asheville Christian Academy. He’s a 6-foot-9 big man that’s starting to show off his growth in the painted area as a finisher, rebounder and rim protector. He’s gotten a lot more aggressive at attacking the basket and showing that he can operate at multiple roles with his mobility on the hardwood. He did work on the grassroots scene with NLPB WNC Elite as a presence in the paint and on the wing. As he puts on more size in the weight room, look for his ranking to grow as well as his stock on the recruiting trail.
