Expert Analysis
Jay Anderson | Prep Hoops Scout
Jacobs remains a top unsigned big man prospect in the rankings with Davidson Day School. He brings an intriguing skill set to the table at 6-foot-9 with an ability to operate inside and out on both ends of the floor. He’s shown he can be a menacing presence in the paint with his athleticism and finishing ability as well as a creator on the perimeter as well. DI and DII programs in need of an asset in the frontcourt/wing rotation would be wise to get him on their radar.

Jacobs is an underrecruited name in the state of North Carolina and fresh off a state title with Davidson Day School. He’s a name for LM/MM programs at the DI level to get eyes on given his activity (highlights in profile) and presence in the painted area on both ends of the floor. He’s got good footwork and nice instincts in the post offensively and has shown he can protect the rim defensively. He’ll be a name to keep eyes on on the UAA stage this weekend with Team Charlotte .

Leveraging his mobility and length, he disrupts passing lanes, kick-starting fast breaks. Levon’s ability to put the ball on the floor and attack gaps is a significant asset, and he defends the post effectively, displaying precise shot-blocking timing. In essence, Levon offers a well-rounded game in the post, with untapped potential to make impactful contributions on both ends of the floor, particularly on the perimeter.
