A legit 6’8 player that is still developing but has good hands, a soft touch around the basket and the ability to step outside to shoot the ball. He is still far from a finished product, but it does not take long to see why college coaches in the building were intrigued with his potential.

Overman recorded the first triple double in school history Friday night, putting up a stat line of 10 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 blocks against Corinth Holders. He’s got elite shot blocking instincts, knowing how to time his jump and put himself in position. His length is also outstanding. He’s a good finisher around the rim, scoring off dumpoffs, rolls and other simple plays, where he does what is asked of him and not too much else. He’s a growing prospect that should be worth monitoring as he heads into the spring and summer.

is starting to find his way around the painted area in the Willow Spring High frontcourt. He’s not the biggest scoring threat just yet but he has made things tough for opponents as far as defending goes. He’s currently producing 5.3 BPG along with 7.1 PPG and 4.6 RPG for the Storm. Despite the 2-5 start for his squad, he’s remained a consistent shot-blocking presence for opponents to become aware of. He notched 10 blocks in their close 62-61 loss to Holly Springs to close out the month of November. Look for him to find his stride and some traction on the recruiting trail very soon.
