Isaiah Sanders Isaiah Sanders 5'11" | PG High Point Christian | 2024 State NC returns to High Point Christian Academy looking to continue to build upon what he’s accomplished so far. He surpassed the 1,000-point plateau this past season in leading their backcourt in more ways than one at the point guard role. He does a tremendous job of blending his speed and shot-making into success when the ball comes his way. The Cougars went 19-14 this past season and lost by Greensboro Day School by a point in overtime in the NCISAA 3A State Quarterfinals. He’ll have the addition of Max Van Weerdhuizen to look forward to as well as Adam Grier Adam Grier 6'4" | SF High Point Christian | 2027 State NC and JaiQuan Clay returning to the fold at High Point Christian as he looks to go out with a bang in 2023-24. He’s an efficient scoring floor general with a knack for high-level playmaking. Bullock has an NCISAA 3A State Championship to defend and a lot more to prove at the floor general spot for Northside Christian Academy in 2023-24. Bullock produced 11.9 ppg, 6.4 apg, 2.8 rpg and 2.4 spg as a junior including 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, nine assists, four steals and four rebounds in their title game victory. Amare Bethel Amare Bethel 6'3" | PG Charlotte Country Day School | 2024 State NC continues to fly under the radar, at least in the recruiting scene, despite being a lethal two-way presence at the point guard spot. He’s got tremendous length that he utilizes well at 6-foot-3 to defend at a high level and make things happen off the bounce. He can knock down shots at volume in the mid-range and on the perimeter with his ability to separate from defenders in space. He’ll need to display a ton of leadership this upcoming season as he’s surrounded by a young group of prospects. He holds an offer from Chowan University heading into his senior season with the Buccaneers.

The ECU-bound floor general really upped the ante heading into his final season as he enters the OTE scene on a national scale in 2023-24. He’s remained his usual self at the floor general spot: a pest on defense and a sharpshooter on all levels with his quickness and athleticism. He’ll be an option to rely on in a rotation that currently features him and NC State-bound wing Paul McNeil Jr.. It’ll be interesting to see if they add anymore pieces to the fold before the high school season officially begins.

Keenan Wilkins Keenan Wilkins 5'11" | PG Christ School | 2024 State NC is slowly climbing up the national radar and should do a whole lot more with a few new weapons at his disposal this high school season. He didn’t slow down while making an adjustment to a new place in Christ School, still maintaining his knack for scoring off the bounce but developed as a facilitator and showed that he could run an offense. He’s developed his body while maintaining his shiftiness off the bounce and ability to knock down shots. It paid off for him in the end as he returns in 2023-24 as a 2023 3A NCISAA State Champion. He holds offers from Southern Illinois UE, McNeese State, Jacksonville University, Lees McRae and Livingstone College heading into his final season on the high school scene.

Sebastian Akins Sebastian Akins 6'2" | PG 1 of 1 Academy | 2024 State NC has been a quick riser in the 2024 rankings. He turned heads immediately this past season at first viewing against Raleigh Christian Academy during the regular season. He finds energy by making defensive plays and his teammates quickly follow suit in being in the right spots for him to find them in space for buckets. He produced 10.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 2.8 apg and 1.2 spg in the backcourt alongside top names Yohance Connor Yohance Connor 6'3" | CG Combine Academy | 2026 State NC and LJ Rush LJ Rush 5'10" | PG 1 of 1 Academy | 2026 State NC this past season. He led the way for the duo this past season with 13.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 4.7 apg and 3.6 spg and looks to go out with a bang before heading off to Catawba College. He’s a competitor in the backcourt that constantly pushes the envelope with his ability to attack the paint and knock down shots on the perimeter. He does a tremendous job defensively as well at reading gaps and forcing turnovers on the opposite end. He’s been exciting to cover along with his brother for the past three grassroots cycle.

Zion Walker Zion Walker 6'2" | PG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC is another floor general with a state title under his belt, in fact, he’s won back-to-back NCISAA crowns with the Spartans heading into his final season. With more talent around him and a younger group of guys to lead, he’ll certainly be looked upon to show his growth as a pace-setter at the floor general spot before heading off to Mount St. Mary’s. He’s a strong-framed guard that uses his body well to maneuver to the painted area and make things happen as a scorer and facilitator. He’ll have a few new additions in the backcourt and frontcourt to operate with as the lead guard in the TBS offense this season.

Carson Daniel Carson Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC returns in 2023-24 looking to make more noise alongside his twin brother, Chase, before heading to Catawba College in the fall of 2024. He’s the other half of the Daniel Duo that led Central Cabarrus to a 32-0 effort during the 2022-23 which culminated with winning the 3A state title. He’s a lot more of a playmaker than his brother as evidenced by his 6.7 apg during their run to an undefeated season. He’ll look to lead them as they have unsigned senior Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6'5" | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC . in tow with them on the wing to close things out. He’ll go down as a top guard in the state before it’s all said and done along with Chase.

Bishop Boswell Bishop Boswell 6'4" | PG Myers Park | 2024 State #68 Nation NC had himself quite a productive season on the EYBL scene and slides into the Number 1 spot as we head into the high school season. He’s a guard with a high IQ for when to look to score and when to pass to others in spots for easy buckets. Boswell is already coming off a big performance in the 4A state title game as Myers Park hung its first banner in boys basketball in school history this past season. He’s an explosive guard that can attack the basket and knock down the 3-ball with efficiency. He’s down to a Top 6 of: Georgia, Xavier, Wake Forest, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee.
