It was uncommon for a team to get blown out because every team had next level talent. Some teams even at the 15U level had 8 players with D1 offers that are legit.
Improvement
Bryce has slowly found ways to impact the game and as a player that can do a little bit of everything he is starting to process what other teams are giving up. He found success stretching the floor moving towards the corner and being a catch and shoot threat. With his overall strength he was able to battle for loose balls and give his team additional possessions. Bryce also had the skill to post up smaller defenders which either led to an easy bucket or a foul. Bryce continues to progress and he had a great showing in Memphis, TN.
Highlights
Elijah has been a player that has been a student of the game and towards the end of summer he was finding ways to really help his team pick up wins. He was extremely active on. the boards getting tips or even just making the defense look for him to box out allowed his team to get many offensive boards. He was reacting a lot better on the wings getting touches and even steals that led to breakout dunks. His length is a weapon for sure. He finds ways to push to the corner on drives or relocation and gets great looks. Consistency is getting better but Elijah is going to be a late bloomer and his ceiling is still high.
Jeremiah is a knockdown shooter but he has been working on different aspects of his game as he showcased that he can handle the ball a bit by using angles and just changing speeds. Out in the perimeter he was taking the ball off the dribble and driving and kicking and when he got aggressive taking the ball to the hoop and he was making some great plays at the rim. With his all-around game developing he is set to make a rise here shortly.
Jax continues to impress on the defensive end, which might not be flashy but his length at 6’4 and a + on his wingspan. He can pick up the entire length of the court and he finds ways to impact the game that way regardless how quick the defenders are. Being able to disrupt the flow of another teams offense is big time. He has solid D1 potential and his offensive game is solid and will only improve.
Kai was explosive and his shot selection was really high level as he kept things simple. He was rebounding with force and he posterized a few players right under the rim. He was one of the most active players out there seeking rebounds and not just hauling them in because he was bigger than others. When he gets that 15 footer right he is just going to continue to rise.
