Unsigned
Smith had a short stint with the team as he was able to find a school at the next level to take him and he signed. Kid has a lot of upside and the growth of his game in the past two years was unreal and he will only get better in college.
Fisher steps in and this will be his second year on the 17U squad as an unsigned player and the kid is good. He can defend bigger but he is a big guard that plays his true position and game at the club level. He would be a fantastic addition to a team looking for size and strength at the 3.
Highlights
In the Paint
Gballou is a load in the paint. He dunks everything and he is hard to displace or move. When he gets the ball and the defense collapses he finds open players and as his passing and vision improves with more high level reps he will continue to be added to college big boards.
Highlights
Bawden has improved a lot over the years and his strength has increased but his best play is still to come as he continues to develop and look for ways to impact the game. He moves well and he could be dangerous in the dunker spot with a lot of attacking guards that can draw two. Bawden will continue to get better with his back to the basket and in pick n’ pop situation that will only increase his upside.
Guard Play
With Hunter Jackson Hunter Jackson 6'3" | PG Woods Cross | 2025 State UT as the lead guard Utah Gold has a floor general that can do a little bit of everything. He is strog on the ball and he can get to those different levels and score. He is strong so he can handle the physicality at the next level. Coleman Atwater Coleman Atwater 6'3" | PG Davis | 2025 State UT can be on the ball or off the ball and his specialty is as a shooter and he has the ability to score off the bounce from deep. Another shooter on the roster is Charlie Smith Charlie Smith 6'5" | SG Bountiful | 2025 State UT as he is one of the most feared shooters in the state and he has that positional size as well. Jackson Woolley Jackson Woolley 6'3" | CG Mesa Mountain View | 2025 State AZ out of Arizona has been a great addition as he brings a little bit of everything to the team but he is another scorer for sure on this guard line. Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT is no stranger to high level competition as he is a player with underrated athleticism and this kid can shoot the ball. He can get streaky and break open a game.
