One of the more athletic and explosive players in the middle of the pack in this very talented Class of 2026 out here in Utah. King has been able to show those skills off but he is reading the defense better with more reps on the floor and he is making great reads and cuts to the basket. He is a player that could really rise this spring and summer.
Highlights
I really like the pace that Mortensen is playing with as he is just doing his thing and he is not playing too fast or slow a player that is running his own race. With a mixture of shoooting and attacking along with solid positional defense he has been stellar early this spring. He could be a big piece of the puzzle as Corner Canyon looks to retool and reload. Mortensen could be a player to help them do that as he is getting great reps with Utah Gold .
A lot of us were excited to see Rahiti finsih out there as he was playing at a high level till he got injured late in the season. He is back from injury and he is locked in as he has a solid and strong frame and good size off the ball. Rahiti is shooting the ball well and he is a big addition to a really good Team Utah squad. Keep an eye on him making moves and catching college coaches attention.
Chand is another player that has shown some steady growth over the past few years and looks to make some noise for a Murray team that. has been showing that they can play and hang with anyone. He has been using those strong drives to the rim this summer to get to the rim. With a lot of skills in his bag he is using this time to really refine his skills.
Lustgarten is makig some moves and he is doing it with simple skills and reads. His rip and go has taken that next level step as he is catching that ball quick and making that quick rip and go move that does not allow the defense to recover and when he is making those quick moves he is not seeing the help side rotate over in time and if it does he has a clear look at who is open. He is a player that could easily move up the rankings.
When it comes to players adjusting to the speed and athleticism that you see on the big circuits Placide has not had to adjust much as he has been able to do his thing. He is a 4 man that can stretch the floor a bit and he has great reads without the ball in his hands. He could be a LM player that will still continue to develop and grow his game with more reps and instruction.
