I’ve seen Solomon King play a few times now and he’s impressed me with his catch and shoot ability. He has very consistent mechanics and is capable of knocking down three or four 3-pointers a game, maybe more. I would also say that his misses don’t do anything to his demeanor. The junior keeps going hard and looks to hit the next one. He’s also 6’4 and has a decent wingspan, which helps him stay in front of his guy on defense.

King is a monster when he is attacking the rim. If he can get that firsts tep on you he will rise up and finish above the rim. Great foundation and as he adds/sharpens his skills out in the perimeter he is going to continue to turn heads. He could be a future steal.

One of the more athletic and explosive players in the middle of the pack in this very talented Class of 2026 out here in Utah. King has been able to show those skills off but he is reading the defense better with more reps on the floor and he is making great reads and cuts to the basket. He is a player that could really rise this spring and summer.

New kid on the block that has tremendous athletic ability. Solomon at times in the open floor jumps like a pogo stick. The kid can fly. He is active in the passing lanes and he can be a disruptive force on the defensive end with his athleticism. Great attacking skill sand he is young and has plenty of time to develop and learn on the fly here at JMCHS.
