Elijah Barrett Elijah Barrett 6'4" | PF Tartan | 2024 State MN — PF — MN Chill
I really like the physicality and power that Barrett brings to the table. The MN Chill standout is able to impact the game in many different ways when he is on the court. Perhaps Barrett’s greatest skill is his ability to snag rebounds. Because he is always one of the stronger prospects on the court, the power forward has no problem ripping the ball away from his opponent. Barrett is also excellent as a screen setter and rim protector. If he continues to round out his game, I could see the PF developing into a productive prospect at the next level.
Andre Austin — PG — Pack 2024
Even though he is still a younger prospect, Austin has a control that is typically only seen in more experienced guards. The Pack 2024 standout is an excellent game manager. When his team needs him to make a play, Austin steps up. He scores well, passes, and defends. He is truly the full package on both ends of the court. I’m very excited to watch Austin develop in the coming years.
Isiah Ayala Isiah Ayala 6'6" | SF Minnesota Prep | 2025 MN — SF — Real Phenom
Ayala is a prospect with enormous potential. The Real Phenom small forward is a dynamic slasher and athlete. He combines positional size with next-level bounce. When Ayala attacks the rim with a full head of steam, he is capable of doing incredible things. I also really like what Ayala brings on the defensive end of the court. He can guard multiple positions while also protecting the rim.
Omar Kaba Omar Kaba 6'8" | C Blake | 2025 State MN — PF — Minnesota Heat
Kaba has been a standout performer this spring and summer for Minnesota Heat . This weekend in Minneapolis, I am looking forward to seeing how Kaba can finish off his campaign. Recently, the power forward has shown plenty of skill around the cup. I love how aggressive he is on the block. When Kaba gets the ball, he isn’t afraid to put his shoulder into an opposing defender and finish through contact. Expect Kaba to impress at the Twin Cities Takedown this weekend!
Finn Norman Finn Norman 6'6" | PF Woodbury | 2025 State MN — PF — Real Phenom
Norman was a standout performer at Battle at the Lakes back in May. I haven’t had the opportunity to watch him compete since that event. I am looking forward to seeing how he has developed. I think that Norman has all of the physical tools necessary to find success at the college level. He stands at 6-foot-6 and has the skills to match his size. Norman is certainly a name to track in Minnesota this weekend.
