You don’t see many 6’8 guys that can move like Omar does. Against Minneapolis Camden, he spent some time bringing the ball up for his team, and also showed the handle to take a defensive rebound and initiate the break on his own. Has impressive mobility to weave through defenders to get to the rim, and was aggressive fighting for offensive boards and going right back up for two points. Has a quick second leap that makes him dangerous on the offensive glass. Omar did a nice job of fighting for deep post position, and putting his size advantage to use to score 23 points in a win.

There aren’t many guys in the state who can move like Omar can at 6’8+. He looks more coordinated and a bit quicker than I remember from last season, and against Hiawatha he was comfortable putting the ball on the floor to get to the rim. Omar was running the floor hard for transition buckets, and in the half-court was able to attack gaps with one dribble to get all the way to the rim. Has the explosive burst to make an impact as a finisher and shot blocker, and worked hard on the glass to retain possessions for his team. Ended up fouling out late in the game, but scored 22 points in a close win for his team.
