Tian Chatman Tian Chatman 6'5" | CG Totino Grace | 2026 State MN of Team FSA/J Sizzle 3SSB. Tian’s ability to defend the ball and make hustle plays has been a welcome site. When he does that teammates follow because Tian is a top prospect in his grade. He’s a big guard that can play both guard spots in a smooth way, but also has really taken on defending the past 4-5 months in the public eye.
Alex Franson Alex Franson 6'0" | PG Marshall | 2025 State MN of Southwest Mn Stars. Alex Franson Alex Franson 6'0" | PG Marshall | 2025 State MN continues to score on all type of teams and players. It’s one thing to play well in a game or two in a round of 16 game against some good players but it’s another thing when you keep doing it over and over against all type of players. Franson seems like he could have a fantastic senior summer and winter.
Kaiden Chatham of Powerhouse Sports. Kaiden was the most productive player I saw at the 17u level. There may have been some better prospects or players that shared more time but Kaiden out did them all in scoring, hustling, rebounding and creating. Nobody player harder or produced more. A name that I could say rise this spring and summer.
Jack McCaffery of D1 Minnesota . His team went undefeated for the weekend and McCaffery’s two way consistent play was a big part of why his team scored in high percentages and other teams had problems scoring all weekend. McCaffery’s feel for the game ranks with the best I have seen lately.
Azayah Washington Azayah Washington 6'2" | PG St. Cloud Apollo | 2025 State MN of D1 Minnesota . Like McCaffery before him, I thought Azayah did more for his team on both ends than some of the others. The ball pressure, the turnovers forced, the push the other way, the finishing and the creating for others. His numbers across the board ranked ahead of others.
Christian Wiggins Christian Wiggins 6'4" | SG Wayzata | 2026 State MN of D1 Minnesota 16s. The D1 Minnesota 16s are looking like Minnesota’s best team and Wiggins as the pressure defender as well as a shot maker both from the perimeter and going to the rim was a big reason why. Wiggins has good guard size and the way he defends edges him past others. That and his ability to play both guard spots and defend a few positions.
