In an up-tempo system, Little can be very effective and played one of the best games I’ve seen from him on Thursday evening. Little had transition layup finishes with both hands, knocked down a corner spot-up 3-pointer and a mid-range pull-up jumper. As a distributor he made the simple read and got the ball in shooters and rollers hands quickly. Defensively, he competed by moving his feet and taking a charge. Low major programs that play a fast style should be recruiting Little as he fits the frantic style of play some HBCU programs run.
One of the biggest stock risers in the 2024 class since the spring started, Jones was impressive once again. Had a drive and roll finish at the rim, later made a post move and missed but got his own rebound and drew free throws. Next time Jones caught it in the post it was a quick lefty finish over his right shoulder. Flashing some perimeter skill with a pump fake two dribble and-1 finish. With soft hands, Jones made a tough catch and finished at the rim. One time Jones was in trouble on the baseline and used his length to extend and kick-out to a shooter in the corner. Defensively Jones is long and alters shots at the rim. While he has a bunch of things working for him, there’s still a few fixes before he’s a major college contributor. If Jones can get stronger, rebound the ball more consistently and develop softer touch on his jumpers then he has the potential to be an impact college player at any level.
One of the fastest risers nationally in the class of 2025, Bundalo has arrived as a national name. His stretch early in the second half on Thursday was one of the most impressive stretches of basketball I’ve watched all summer. In a maybe four minute span, Bundalo had a top of the key 3-pointer, above the break 3-pointer, a layup off a roll, an alley-oop slam dunk and a leak out slam dunk. Completely taking over the game, Bundalo is proving that his talent is top 50 in the country level good.
Another big riser this spring and summer in Ohio’s ranks has been Woidke. His first two games on the 3SSB circuit were impressive with over 20 points in each contest. Knocking down spot-up shots at a high rate, Woidke was money when given time and space with his feet set. An aggressive downhill slasher, Woidke looks to use his burst and shiftiness to get around defenders and create shots at the rim. His most impressive move came when he used an in and out dribble to blow by a defender then slam it home in the half court. Receiving his first Division I offer from Duquense this weekend, Woidke is trending upwards and will rise in our next 2025 rankings update coming after grassroots season wraps up.

While it was a disappointing loss for previously unbeaten Midwest Basketball Club in 3SSB play, Mirgon was an individual standout. Shooting the ball at an efficient clip from the outside, Mirgon knocked down jumpers in a variety of ways. From corner and wing spot ups to one dribble pull-up 3’s and two dribble jumpers, Mirgon was serving buckets however you wanted em. A point guard who makes his teammates better as well, Mirgon makes quick decisions with the basketball and gets it to shooters on time. One of the top guards in Ohio’s 2027 class, you’ll continue to hear about Mirgon more and more over the next four years.
