Expert Analysis
Max Rosenberg | Prep Hoops Scout
Bundalo is extremely active in transition, both as a ball-handler or filling the lanes, finishing at the rim. He can step outside and knock down the three-pointer as well. Bundalo has nice bounce on the second jump and was able to grab offensive rebounds or tip in a miss on a few occasions. Defensively, he was impressive utilizing his length to apply pressure on perimeter switches, as well as getting deflections & steals on passes coming into the post when defending in the paint.

Bundalo was a late bloomer compared to the rest of the kids spotlighted in this article as he showed flashes at Uniontown Green as a freshman and earned a spot in our initial 2025 rankings in the 8-12 range. After an impressive summer with Wildcat Select and a dominant performance at the Prep Hoops Expo, Bundalo’s stock started to rise. It all happened in a hurry during the spring of 16 U where Bundalo went from an unknown nationally to holding numerous high major offers. After this blowup, Bundalo made the move to Western Reserve Academy where he played his Junior season still in Ohio but outside of the OHSAA. He is now teaming up with fellow 330 area code native Darryn Peterson at Prolific Prep where the duo will be put on a national stage.

One of the top forwards in the 2025 class nationally, Bundalo had a huge game against PSA Cardinals in a low scoring affair. Bundalo is one of the top competitors in the 2025 class nationally and showed exactly why on Saturday afternoon. With multiple trail 3-pointers, tip dunks and attacks off the bounce, Bundalo was scoring it in a variety of ways. Such a unique offensive talent for a guy his size, the ability to shoot, attack a closeout and play above the rim is rare for a guy his size and it’s why he’s regarded as a top 35 player in the country.

Despite the loss, Bundalo continues to show why he’s regarded as the top Ohio prospect in the 2025 class (removing players who left the state for prep programs) at the moment. A very athletic forward who can stretch the floor with his jumper and attack the basket by using both hands to finish at the rim, Bundalo can score it in a variety of ways. Maybe the highlight of the game was a Bundalo slam dunk all over a Garfield Heights defender. Recently took a visit to UCLA, Bundalo’s recruitment continues to spike with blue blood and elite high major offers and interest.

Anytime there’s a new number one prospect, it’s going to catch headlines. While former top ranked prospect Darryn Peterson transferred out of Ohio to Huntington Prep (and former top 3 prospect Jerry East II transferred to La Lumiere) it became a two-player race for the top spot between Bundalo and

. This was a tough call to make but I sided with Bundalo after his impressive spring with Wildcat Select saw him debut in national rankings and attract the attention of dozens of high major programs. His current list of offers includes (from most recent to oldest) UCLA, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Purdue, Creighton, Nebraska, Penn State, Georgetown, Syracuse, Illinois, Iowa, Rutgers, Ohio State, Seton Hall, Xavier and Kent State. Bundalo has a unique ability to run the floor, play on the perimeter and affect the game at the rim at both ends of the floor. He’s also started to turn the impressive physical tools he’s always had into consistent production, which is why he’s rose in our rankings and received the offers he has. Bundalo is now at Western Reserve Academy, where he’ll be playing against top competition on a consistent basis, will further allow him to show how he’s developed over the past six months.

One of the fastest risers nationally in the class of 2025, Bundalo has arrived as a national name. His stretch early in the second half on Thursday was one of the most impressive stretches of basketball I’ve watched all summer. In a maybe four minute span, Bundalo had a top of the key 3-pointer, above the break 3-pointer, a layup off a roll, an alley-oop slam dunk and a leak out slam dunk. Completely taking over the game, Bundalo is proving that his talent is top 50 in the country level good.
