Midwest Live brought out many of the top teams and players to Sandusky to compete in front of over 100 college programs, in this article I'll break down my 2027 standouts from the final day of action.

Warrensville Heights had a strong showing this weekend thanks to their depth of size and scrappy guards. Myers found success jumping passing lanes, pushing in transition and scoring before the defense could set up. In the half-court, Myers favorite way to score is making shots off the catch and he did that well this weekend. Expect Warrensville Heights to compete for a state title as they have a lot of pieces ready to contribute.

Miller was going right at opposing bigs this weekend and putting in work in the paint. Miller did a nice job attacking from the elbow area as he has a quick first step for a big and is crafty with how he finishes at the rim. Miller also likes the spin move to create space to finish at the rim and has the quick change of direction that's tough for a lot of slower footer bigs to keep up with. In the open court, Miller is at his best when he jumps passing lanes and can throw down dunks in transition off those steals. A surefire Division I target, I'm a little surprised with the lack of recent offers for Miller and he could be a guy who hangs a little under the radar for regional programs.

One of the elite floor spacers in Ohio, Scholl is automatic from downtown when given the space to fire away from long distance. Against Garfield Heights, Scholl caught the defense by surprise with how quickly he fired away from downtown even when he was a few feet behind the line. The biggest area for Scholl to improve at is in the weight room and he had some nice finishes at the rim but also faded away from contact a couple times against smaller defenders. Scholl has a pair of Division I offers and I'd expect that list to grow by the time July ends.

I caught Benedictine near the end of my weekend at Midwest Live and Bohanon was getting busy for the Bengals. A shifty guard, Bohanon is tough to stay in front of at the point of attack and getting where he wanted off the dribble. Creating a majority of his offense by himself, Bohanon was breaking down the defense and mixing up whether he wanted to get to the rim or pull-up for a jumper. When you can pressure the defense without a ball screen it really opens up a lot of avenues for you to score or create for your teammates and Bohanon did that at a high level.

I haven't seen as much of Riccardo as many of the other top wings in Ohio's 2027 class so Canfield was a priority for me to see this weekend. I caught Riccardo in my final game of the weekend and was most impressed by Riccardo's passing ability with Canfield. Riccardo found cutters, made drive and kick passes and beat double teams with the pass. With the size and length to finish over smaller players and the skill to attack off the dribble vs slower players, Riccardo is a bit of a mismatch problem from the wing forward position. I'd expect Riccardo's recruitment to pick up, especially with high academic programs as he holds a 3.89 GPA according to his twitter.

A new name to add, Titas is an elite shooter from the wing and has a strong frame to handle physicality on both ends of the court. Those two skills are extremely important to playing at the next level as almost everybody transitions to a role player of some sort. I had a small college coach tell me Titas was one of his favorite players he saw this weekend and I had to agree that he could fit their system and potentially contribute sooner rather than later in his college career. Gilmour Academy runs efficient offensive sets that create open looks and emphasizes high IQ basketball that translates well to the next level. I'd recommend other small college programs from around Ohio to get familiar with Titas
