Playing with AE5 this summer, Wingfield has proven he can consistently knock down the three. He has great instincts and footwork in the low post as well. Numbers 1-4 in our 2026 rankings are all tight and it wouldn’t shock me if Wingfield eventually hit the top.
7A Freshman of the Year, William Dopfer William Dopfer 6’6″ | SF Lambert | 2026 State GA initially caught our attention last fall at the PH Freshman Showcase and has kept his stock trending upwards with great seasons with Lambert and Redline. Dopfer is a do-it-all forward with a high-motor and a nose for the ball. He’s athletic and mobile, super active on the boards. The show will likely be his to run at Lambert this year.
Jordan Green Jordan Green 6’7″ | PF Newton | 2026 State GA just announced he’d be making the move from Norcross to Newton and that should provide ample opportunity for him in the front court. He uses his length well when finishing at the rim and has shown a steady mid-range game too. Green is just starting to tap into his potential and his best basketball is certainly ahead of him.
Highlights
Jayden London Jayden London 6’7″ | PF Tri-Cities | 2026 State GA will step right into the fire this year at Tri-Cities where he’ll play a key role alongside senior point guard Malique Johnson Malique Johnson 6’0″ | PG Tri-Cities | 2024 State GA . London is beaming with untapped potential, 6’7 and extremely long. This summer, we saw London trusting his bunnies and finishing above the rim a lot more. As his body starts to fill out and the game slows down, London could develop into a real threat from either post position.
Charlie Gersmehl Charlie Gersmehl 6’7″ | PF Gainesville | 2026 State GA played a major role in Redline’s successful first year in the UA Rise, a strong and steady presence inside that’s shown a lot of development in the past year. He’s noticeably quicker on his feet now and isn’t limited to his back-to-the-basket post game; meanwhile, he’s still an effective scorer down there. I expect Gersmehl to see a heavy workload at South Forsyth this season.
