Rising sophomore small forward Jaxon Richardson Jaxon Richardson 6'6" | SG Christopher Columbus | 2026 NV and his older brother rising senior guard Jase will be heading to the Explorers to pair up with nationally ranked duo Cayden and Cameron Boozer Cameron Boozer 6'9" | PF Columbus | 2025 State #2 Nation FL .
Jaxon, a 6-5 small forward is one of the top ranked freshmen last season for a talented Bishop Gorman squad where he was coming off the bench for the Gaels who are coming off a 22-7 campaign a year ago. Jaxon currently holds offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, San Diego State and Washington.
Jase, a 6-3 shooting guard is entering his senior season and is coming off one of his best weeks of the EYBL Circuit where he was averaging 20.8 points per game and shot 45 percent from beyond the arc playing for Paul George Elite which are based in Los Angeles. Jase is receiving heavy interest from Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Michigan State, San Diego State, Stanford, USC, Virginia and several others. Jace is scheduled to take visits with Alabama and Cincinnati later this year and has undecided on when a commit will take place.
The Explorers have a bulk load of talent that is returning in 2023-2024, which include 6-7 small forward Malik Abdullahi and 6-3 shooting guard Benny Fragela Benny Fragela 5'11" | SG Columbus | 2025 State FL who are likely to be in the starting lineup. It is expected that the Explorers to be the favorites in Class 7A to win their elusive third straight state title this upcoming season.
