Tropea is steady as they come and was so once again last weekend. I don’t have his stats and I don’t need them. Tropea is wizzard when it comes to getting the ball where it needs to go and initiating the offense
Risdon continued to show why he’s an elite post player in the state of Michigan. He’s a next level defender and rim protector that knows how to use his length. Risdon finished above the rim over the weekend and pulled down a lot of boards for the Indy Heat.

Day had a huge grassroots season with REAL and it ended in that same manner. He had some really big scoring games where he finished in the open floor and also finished with creativity in traffic. Day also showed that he could up and go through the defender with strength.

Nellett has himself a weekend and made sure that he entered showcase season on a roll. He scored from all 3 levels with InspireU. Nellett did great work from mid range where he used the glass on a jumper, showed touch and proved he could see the floor and pass. Nellett is a player to keep an eye on heading into showcase season.

College coaches, we have a post player alert! How about a couple point and rebound double-doubles on the weekend? VanderWaal so super steady in the paint, recognizing good shots and taking advantage of them. He did a nice job winning the rebounding battle before the ball even came off the rim.
It feels like Vanlaningham’s name has been on copy and paste on my computer during grassroots season for 3 years. He continues to show that he can be a high level guard in college ball. If you take his total game as it currently stands, he’s mad it really tough to find a weakness. And don’t say athleticism because he’s underrated in that regard.
