Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live II: Hoop State Edition

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops took in the action at Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live II this past weekend on the Grand Strand. The 4-day event was being held at the John Rhodes Sports Center right in the Heart of Myrtle Beach just blocks away from the Atlantic Ocean. Who were some players of interest that caught our attention this weekend? </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Anyone Say Size?</em></strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1982790' first='Chol' last='Machot']</strong> is a very slender and extremely long individual who plays at Winston-Salem Christian. Machot has a very good skill set with the ability to handle the rock up the floor like a guard and block shots (it least 9 to my count here today). He runs the floor like a deer and just glides effortlessly from side to side. Allen scored 36 points according to my unofficial stats here today vs West Virginia Reign. Rodmik creates his own shot while attacking the gaps and simply cross overing a defender. Jacobs a long and rangy forward played last season at Moravian Prep. Jacobs has a great upside and can really stretch the floor with his ability to knockdown shots on the perimeter. Jacobs previously played at West Rowan HS before playing at Moravian Prep last season. Jack connected on some short mid-range jumpers and was constantly around the ball to make a play for his squad. Peterkin who attends Mount Tabor HS is a 2-sport athlete who excels on the hardwood and football field. He's currently attracting a lot of Power 5 Football recruitment.
