This class took a hit with Jasper Johnson, Jayden Miles Jayden Miles 6'8" | C Jeffersontown | 2024 State KY and Elijah Clinton Elijah Clinton 6'5" | SG Western | 2024 State KY all opting to leave for prep schools but all three were originally 2024s who moved to 25 with the Covid year so the class is sort of back to normal at this point. Here’s a look at the top ten prospects in the class right now.
Malachi moves into the top spot and is a top 40-60 prospect in America in the 25 class depending on where you look. Moreno has come a long way in the last 3 years and is starting to reach his ceiling as a player thanks to improved coordination and athleticism as he’s stopped growing and started filling out his frame.
Another player who has a lengthy list of D1 offers, Walker is a versatile forward who can score on the block or facing up. He’s increasingly comfortable putting the ball on the floor and continues improving as a defender. EJ has a lot of suitors in the Big Ten and will end up at the high major D1 level on signing day.
JuJu is another versatile forward at the top of the class and is a highly efficient scorer from the elbow and in. A wrist injury slowed down Edmond’s outside shooting this summer but he’s a capable shooter when left open from the perimeter. As his skill set keeps improving, JuJu’s prospect ceiling keeps improving.
The first commitment in the class, Zander is committed to Liberty already. A big guard who can shoot or attack the rim, Carter keeps improving and chose the Flames over a bunch of other mid major D1 suitors.
Highlights
Dawson had a quiet summer but still added an offer from Miami (OH) to go with offers from SEMO and EKU. A big guard, Vince can play on or off the ball and is effective at getting downhill and getting paint touches or raising up and shooting over smaller defenders.
Highlights
Another big guard, Isaiah has offers from Tennessee Tech and EKU and interest from a ton of other schools at that level. Cochran still has room to grow and bulk up as he improves his athleticism. A fall spent on the Vertimax and in the weight room could ratchet up Cochran’s stock to another level.
A very athletic guard who plays above the rim, Austin also has a scholarship offer as a wide receiver on the football field in addition to several D1 offers on the basketball court. Sperry is bouncy and has the physical tools to be a lockdown defender if he chooses to be.
Another really athletic guard, Melo earned his first D1 offer back in April but should see several come his way before signing day. Boone is a really good defender who can impact the game on both ends. He also can heat up from the perimeter and hit 6 threes in the regional this past season.
One of the biggest risers of the summer, Butler earned an offer from Lipscomb and had a 42 point game for Calloway County during the Shelbyville live event. Jonah is very versatile and does a little bit of everything to impact winning for his team.
Highlights
The best prospect in the 2025 class that doesn’t have a D1 offer yet, Mabe is an excellent rim protector who has a versatile skill set and isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim at 6’8. Jordan is also a capable shooter who continues to improve with each passing season.
