Even with a stacked roster, Doerr led Evangel Christian in scoring and free throw percentage. There’s no doubt that Christian can do it all on the floor. Doerr is an efficient, shooting guard that can hurt the opponent from behind the arc or by driving to the basket. The Eagles are in great hands with Christian leading the way again this season.

With Cyr Malonga graduating, Johnny Djema Johnny Djema 6’8″ | PF Evangel Christian | 2024 State KY will use his size to step up as one of the main Eagle’s big men. Djema averaged 6.3 points and 4.7 rebounds, but look for him to have a more significant role in the scoring column and on the boards. There’s a lot of potential for Evangel Christian this season and Johnny will be a key piece.

As the point guard for a talented Evangel Christian team, Kyran Tilley Kyran Tilley 6’1″ | PG Evangel Christian | 2024 State KY is another huge piece to the puzzle. Averaging 16 points a game last season, Tilley has the potential to increase his average and show even more of what he can do. Kyran also has a knack for scoring efficiently. The upcoming senior shot 50% from the field and 40% from three.
Brady is not someone that should be overlooked. He does whatever it takes to get the win. Whether it be rebounding, hitting treys, or posting up, Shoulders can do it. The ceiling is high and Brady is a player that can definitely reach it. A double-double machine a season ago, expect an even bigger year from the senior.
DeShaun may not have played for the Wildcats last season, but he is a nice addition with the loss of one starter. Newport has a young roster so not only will his performances on the court come in handy, but so will his leadership. Jackson will complete one of the best backcourts in the state.
Jack Reddick Jack Reddick 6’4″ | PG Lyon County | 2024 State KY is another high level scorer for Lyon County. He takes high percentage shots and gets the job done however he needs to. Reddick sees the floor really well and stays composed against pressure and adversity. It’s safe to say there’s great trio in Lyon County and it wouldn’t be the same without Jack.
