Morning Session

West Charlotte vs Chatham Charter is a big time contrast between school size and location, but both teams have some talented pieces. [player_tooltip player_id='1409583' first='Chadlyn' last='Traylor'] for WC is a real scorer and talent on that end of the floor, but the real jewel is [player_tooltip player_id='1682357' first='Markus' last='Kerr']. One of the best 2026s in his class, he's a big guard/wing that can score at 3 levels and is active and athletic defensively. [player_tooltip player_id='2321487' first='Damani' last='Day'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1975400' first='Markiest' last='Houston'] will be able to play continued supporting roles for Dub C as well. For 1A wagons Chatham Charter, their duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1225619' first='Brennen' last='Oldham'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1225618' first='Beau' last='Harvey'] will be back to provide the star power, and guys like [player_tooltip player_id='2041558' first='Jonah' last='Ridgill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1693917' first='Aidan' last='Allred'] will be there looking to make leaps in their senior seasons. This group is dogged, plays for each other, and consistently solid. We'll see what group comes out on top.

Afternoon Session

Clayton takes on Green Level in a battle of cross county squads, and I think Clayton has a real gem in [player_tooltip player_id='1365466' first='Andrew' last='Grimes']. He's a long and physical post scorer and defender that should be able to guard multiple positions. [player_tooltip player_id='1212902' first='Justice' last='Mitchell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1673520' first='Jeremiah' last='Henson'] are great younger guys that have lots of room to grow, and Anthony Walters is an undersized floor general that can really push the offense in high gear. The Gators have a three headed snake led by smooth, big wing [player_tooltip player_id='1667677' first='Isaac' last='Ericksen'] who is showing off his chops as a scorer so far this spring. [player_tooltip player_id='1864256' first='Leon' last='Cain'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1754423' first='Israel' last='Eatman'] will chip in with great guard play and complementary scoring as well. This is a sneakily talented game with a couple of D1 level prospects to get eyes on.

Evening Session

Reagan and Butler will be a matchup with two fast rising prospects, one on each team. For Reagan, it's big man [player_tooltip player_id='1976851' first='Cooper' last='Jackson'], a physical forward who does all the dirty work and is continuing to develop some nice interior scoring ability. [player_tooltip player_id='2415032' first='KJ' last='Ford'] and Yazir Wilson will be the two guards tasked with getting it inside to Jackson and also providing some scoring pop on their own. Cooper's younger brother Lincoln Jackson will also be a big man to spell him at times with similar play. For Butler, it's BSA Supreme's long wing [player_tooltip player_id='1591916' first='Tyler' last='Showalter'] that will be ready to continue to show off his refined scoring and shooting ability. His floor general will be Bryce Heath, who's a really solid playmaker and has good command of the ball in his hands. [player_tooltip player_id='2321491' first='Reece' last='Starnes'] and Dequadre Currence are some stockrisers that I'm interested to see if they can translate some grassroots success to bigger roles this year with the squad. While not the biggest or most successful programs, the matchup of Showalter and Jackson is more than enough to keep me interested in this one.
