He’s a versatile presence at 6-foot-6 who’s shown he can operate inside and out and both ends of the floor. Mitchell was another standout performer with the NC Intruders as they took home the 17U Silver Championship at the 252 Summer Finale. He showed he could be a presence inside and out attacking the rim and knocking down shots in the midrange and on the perimeter. He showed he could be a presence on the fastbreak as well with his ability to snag rebounds and create in the open floor. He finished with 16 points in the championship game and 25 points in their comeback victory in the semifinals which saw them erase a 20-point deficit. He’s a name for DI and DII programs to get to know at Clayton High this season.

Was very aggressive to score the ball on the occasions that we got the chance to watch him. The combination of height and offensive skill makes him a very difficult matchup for most opponents at his position on the high school level.

is another name trending in the upward direction following a productive season at Clayton High. He took home the PH Greater Neuse River Player of the Year award. The Comets won their conference tournament championship and made a deep run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs after Mitchell posted 19.7 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 2.4 APG and 1.1 BPG on the season. He’s a 6-foot-6 forward prospect who showed he could operate inside and out with ease on both ends of the hardwood in 2023-24. DI and DII programs would be wise to check him out with

Mitchell was a key contributor to his Clayton group in two big time wins last week, posting 19/9 against Cleveland and then 19/10 in a close win against Willow Spring as well. He’s a machine who plays the 4 for the Comets, attacking closeouts and playing hard around the rim and the mid-range. Also has shown an ability to shoot it from the perimeter, knocking down 2 big threes against Willow Spring.

Mitchell is slowly growing into one of the more improved prospects in the 2025 class in North Carolina with Clayton High. He leads the Comets with 19.0 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 1.8 APG and 1.2 BPG in his full return to the hardwood in 2023-24. He’s shown he can attack the rim as well as make things happen as a perimeter presence, shooting 58 percent from the field and 31 percent from 3-point land. He’s a name for DI and DII programs to put on their radar.
