is the last of the stock-rising forwards/wings as he checks in at No. 60 in the final rankings update in the state of North Carolina. He’s a versatile presence who led the Butler High rotation in his final year of high school basketball as he put up 21.5 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 2.5 APG, 2.0 BPG and 1.6 SPG as a two-way presence on the hardwood. He’s a 6-foot-6 prospect who a 6-foot-8 wingspan who isn’t afraid to utilize his length on the shot-blocking and rebounding front and does a tremendous job of operating off the bounce with his athleticism as well. He’s an available unsigned senior prospect for Division I and Division II prospects in need of an energy guy who can operate on the wing and in the painted area when given opportunities. He was awarded Southwestern 4A Conference Player of the Year this season as well. Guilford College, SUNY-Fredonia and Pfeiffer have offered him.
Heartbreaker! Lost by 2 at the buzzer for the Conf Title! Both teams played their hearts out. @tylershow11 left it all on the floor w 19 pts / 15 Rebs / 3 blocks / 2 steals & 2 assts …. #11 so proud of you!!! Huge shout out to our fans … they brought so much energy!! 🙌 pic.x.com/4mzMCblVea

Showalter has continued his impressive grassroots performances into high school play with Butler, scoring 22 PPG and being the frontrunner for conference player of the year. He has a variety of D2 and D3 offers, and should have a pick of very successful programs wherever he decides to go. He’s a long wing with three level scoring ability and an explosive, fiery game that makes him a fierce competitor in every game he plays in.

Showalter is a versatile wing/forward presence set to make a splash in his final season at Butler High. He was a productive presence in the BSA Supreme rotation this past grassroots season with his ability to attack the paint, rebound the ball and knock down shots on the perimeter. He’s a matchup problem in the making given his confidence shooting the ball and making things happen. As he fills out his frame and shows he can operate in the painted area defensively, look for his recruitment to grow. Pfeiffer University has offered him.

Last Season Stats – 10.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 2.1 APG
My undisputed conference POY after what he’s shown over the last 4 months. Legitimate 3 level scorer with some real pop around the rim. Can’t run him off the line because of his ability to get downhill and attack closeouts. Smooth lefty stroke from the perimeter, and can shoot it off the bounce and the catch. His height makes him a legitimate 3 at the next level and also has a plus wingspan. Going to take the conference by storm this year.

is another prospect in the BSA Supreme fold worthy of attention from college coaches. He’s shown he can operate inside and out with his length at 6-foot-6 and isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint when needed. He’s an active presence as a wing-forward that can defend at a high level and make an impact as a scorer. He’s come along nicely shooting the ball on the perimeter as well and as more coaches get eyes on him, he’s certainly ready to create some buzz in North Carolina’s 2024 class.
Highlights from April-May AAU season.

Showalter is another wing that is a part of the outstanding BSA group handling business here this weekend. He shoots the ball extremely well, with a lefty stroke that is repeatable and quick. However, he can still play as an athlete on the drive and above the rim. He’s a strong finisher who isn’t afraid of some contact and embraces the physicality. What’s most obvious is his positive attitude and swagger towards the game when he is playing well. Continuing to develop his frame and being even better with finishing through the contact, and adding value on the defensive end will be priorities in order to increase the level of his recruiting.

is another prospect out of the BSA Supreme fold that’s shown he’s ready to turn a corner heading into his senior year in the 2024 class. He’s a prospect out of Butler High that can operate in a variety of ways with his length at 6-foot-6. He flies around for rebounds and blocked shots and can operate off the bounce offensively as a wing. He’s got breakout potential as we head into the June Live Period.

. He’s a 6-foot-7 prospect that plays tough nosed around the rim/paint as a finisher and rebounder and can also step out and knock down shots in the high post and on the perimeter. He’s a prospect out of Butler High that DII programs in the region should get eyes on given his skill set.
