Kameron Taylor Kameron Taylor 6’7″ | SF Carmel Christian | 2024 State NC made quite the splash in the NCISAA 4A ranks with Carmel Christian School this season as a new addition. He’s a stock-rising name to know heading into the final recruiting cycle. He showed he could operate on the wing this season in shooting 52/143 (36 percent) from deep on the year with Carmel Christian School as he surpassed the 1,000-point plateau. He had a number of 30+ point performances this season as he put up 39 points on 15/17 shooting against Cox Mill High and 32 points on 13/21 shooting including the game-winning bucket against Cannon School this season. Overall, he put together five games of 30 points or more and 20 points or more in 20 games this season for the Cougars as they made it to this year’s NCISAA 4A Quarterfinals before falling to Providence Day. He’s a prospect with offers from UNC-Asheville, Chattanooga, Radford, Chicago State and UNC-Greensboro as he wraps up his high school career.

Jamias Ferere Jamias Ferere 6’5″ | SF Southern Guilford | 2025 NC is a prospect who should have turned a ton of heads this season in the NCHSAA 3A ranks with Southern Guilford High. He’s an athletic 6-foot-5 wing who leads with his playmaking ability. He was an impressive presence on the wing and in the painted area off the bounce for the Storm as he produced 17.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 4.3 APG and 1.5 SPG while showcasing his ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor. He showed he could be a potential impact prospect at the Division I level all season long in being the unsung leader on the floor for Southern Guilford this season. He’s an unsigned senior name with a bright future ahead of him for any program in dire need of a winning wing prospect with a ton of upside given what he can do on the hardwood.

Kyrell Shaw Kyrell Shaw 6’4″ | SG Northside Christian Academy | 2024 State NC is another prospect on the wing who’s shown with his length and athleticism, he can make teams pay with his shooting ability. He led Northside Christian Academy this season with 19.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 1.6 SPG and 1.5 APG as an all-around presence who can operate at the guard and small forward/wing role. He led the way in 3-pointers made on the year with 92 with the Knights, ranking 12 in the state of North Carolina, according to MaxPreps. He’ll join his brother, KC, at Winston-Salem State with his recent commitment to the Rams in the CIAA.

Taky Prospect is another tweener wing-forward prospect, he’s got a strong-frame and good instincts around the rim to go along with his size at 6-foot-7. He’s a prospect that’s still available in the state of North Carolina following a productive season at Oak Ridge Military Academy. He put up stellar production at the 3/4 spot while averaging 16.7 PPG, 13.6 RPG, 2.8 APG, 1.7 SPG and 1.3 BPG on the year. He showed good instincts as a presence rebounding the ball and does well to move without the ball to find openings to make an impact. He’s got a good motor to go along with his length and continues to develop as a presence in the painted area for opposing teams to deal with.

Linwood Rowe Linwood Rowe 6’6″ | SF Trinity Christian School | 2024 State NC continues to be an available prospect on the stock-rising front with Trinity Christian School. At 6-foot-6, he’s shown he can operate at the wing/forward role after posting 15.1 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 2.7 APG and 1.1 SPG on 57 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from deep on the year with the Crusaders to wrap up his high school career. He matched his career-high 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting against Cape Fear Christian Academy back on Nov. 7 to kick off the year and show what kind of season he’d produce on the NCISAA stage. He’s shown tremendous growth in his ability to play with a ton of pace when the ball comes his way. Defensively, he’s shown he can defend a few different positions on the floor as well. Division I and Division II programs in the region would be wise to get eyes on him.

Tyler Showalter Tyler Showalter 6’6″ | SF Butler | 2024 State NC is the last of the stock-rising forwards/wings as he checks in at No. 60 in the final rankings update in the state of North Carolina. He’s a versatile presence who led the Butler High rotation in his final year of high school basketball as he put up 21.5 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 2.5 APG, 2.0 BPG and 1.6 SPG as a two-way presence on the hardwood. He’s a 6-foot-6 prospect who a 6-foot-8 wingspan who isn’t afraid to utilize his length on the shot-blocking and rebounding front and does a tremendous job of operating off the bounce with his athleticism as well. He’s an available unsigned senior prospect for Division I and Division II prospects in need of an energy guy who can operate on the wing and in the painted area when given opportunities. He was awarded Southwestern 4A Conference Player of the Year this season as well. Guilford College, SUNY-Fredonia and Pfeiffer have offered him.
