Continue ReadingA player that we have seen quite a bit over the past few seasons, he’s a natural scorer with impressive athletic ability that college programs should be watching closely. He was aggressive from start to finish during their matchup with Jacksonville HS, using his speed to blow by defenders in halfcourt situations, coming up with some bigtime buckets for his team down the stretch.
Highlights
There is plenty to like about what he brings to the table for his team each time he steps on the floor. He has impressive end to end speed, outstanding court vision/passing ability and a high IQ for the game. During their matchup with LWCS, he scored the ball at a high level and would even come up with the game winning bucket in overtime. Don’t let the size fool you, he competes hard and plays the game with toughness that you love to see from a Guard.
Easily one of the top overall performers at the event, he has continued to grow as a player and understands how to make a high impact on both ends of the floor. He understands how to be a floor general and control the game but can score the ball at a very high level from multiple levels. On the defensive end of the floor, he’s constantly applying pressure, working to force opponents into turnovers and rushed possessions.
The performances that he put together for his team throughout the weekend were outstanding and he proved why he is a player worthy of scholarship offers. Numerous games with more than 25 points, which included a 34 Point performance against NBHS when he knocked down nine treys.
Highlights
A very productive player that never seems to get too high or too low regardless of what may be going on, he is a taller guard that uses his size to his benefit. He doesn’t overdribble but instead he gets to his spots and shoots over smaller guards without much of an issue. College coaches should be tracking him closely as he clearly is a player that can play on the next level.
Another player that consistently put up bigtime numbers throughout the weekend, his play helped his team reach the bracket championship game. He’s an efficient scorer that averaged just under 20 PPG that doesn’t settle too often and does not take a high number of contested/difficult shots.
