#1 Utah Prospects Adidas 3SSB
The Utah Prospects 16U squad has surprised a lot of teams. They have played up on the 17’s division in some tournaments and they have played a very strong schedule. With wins over UAA, NIKE EYLB and one fo the best Pro 16 teams in the country and this includes going undefeated in 3SSB this spring these kids are tough and play together.
Augustine Ekwe Augustine Ekwe 6'10" | C Wasatch Academy | 2025 State UT : The 6’9 C is one of the top rebounders and shot blockers on circuit. He gets elite position and dunks with force. When his touch improves on some quick finishes he is going to turn the corner on his offensive skills.
John Southwick John Southwick 6'3" | SG Utah Prep | 2025 State #234 Nation UT : The kid has been on a tear. He is shooting the cover off of the ball. Then on the other end he is defending his tail off.
JJ Mandaquit JJ Mandaquit 6'2" | PG Utah Prep | 2025 State #45 Nation UT : The hype is real, the kid is next level. With USA invites and even international invites to play JJ is master ful with the ball. He is strong and knows how to score. One of the best PG’s on 3SSB regardless of class.
Titan Larsen (Hillcrest, Idaho)
Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT : He is starting to understand his role and he is playing that role very well. He has had games where he blocks more that 5 shots and he is one of the top rebounders in the state and he is scoring the ball. He is doing it inside and out.
Elijah Eschmeyer, Peak to Peak, Colorado)
Jax Allen Jax Allen 6'4" | CG Orem | 2025 State #391 Nation UT : The CG has had moments where he is making some solid plays on the offensive end. He also has moments when he just shuts down another teams best player. Jax has a high ceiling and a lot of potential.
Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT : the crazy thing is that a lot fo the wins have virtually come without their 2nd best player on the floor. Ike will be back this summer and could really elevate this team even more.
#2 Utah Gold
Utah Gold has played in the Adidas East Gold Circuit and they have played very well. Any loss they have had has been close and frankly they should’ve won, but they continue to get better. This team has proven they can play with anyone in the country.
Coleman Atwater Coleman Atwater 6'3" | PG Davis | 2025 State UT : One of the best shooters in the class and he is scoring against some top talent. He is not doing it with nobody on him, he is making some tough buckets. He is hard to stop and he can beat you off the dribble as well.
Owen Bawden Owen Bawden 6'10" | PF Cedar Valley | 2025 State UT : One of the biggest stock risers in the state as the 6’8 + big is starting to play with confidence and poise. He is attacking the rim and he is using that length to alter shots.
Hunter Jackson Hunter Jackson 6'3" | PG Woods Cross | 2025 State UT : Strong PG that continues to get better. His development and all-around skill is next level. He has been one of the best players in the sense that he does a little bit of everything to help his team win.
Trey Hiatt Trey Hiatt 6'6" | PF Orem | 2025 State UT : Trey is a nice combo forward that can step out and spread the floor a bit but also do work in the trenches down low.
Jason Peterson Jason Peterson 6'4" | CG Bingham | 2025 State UT : This kid is a big body guard that has a motor and he defends at a high level. He is starting to really get to a place where you can see him attack more.
Brady Perry: Solid do it all wing that is strong and can defend. Scoring ability is there and he can get streaky quickly too.
Drez Jensen: Really like this CG that can shoot the ball from deep. He uses a very crafty style of play to get buckets at all three levels. He can go off at any time.
#3 Mountain Stars UAA
The Mountain Stars have 4 Utah players on this list and a mix of AZ, CO and NV kids as well. With one of the best leapers in the country this team is exciting and has a lot of potential.
Bryson Heath Bryson Heath 5'9" | CG Bountiful | 2025 State UT : The Bountiful guard is getting some valuable experience to get things going for next year. PG knows how to get the ball up the floor and get it in the right hands.

Bradley Easton Bradley Easton 6'5" | SG Brighton | 2025 State UT : Bradley is a big time shooter out of Brighton High School who can really stretch the floor. He is at his best when he can catch and shoot the ball. With a little bit of positional size and a high release he is able to get shots off. That range continues to improve but overall this kid can shoot the rock.
JP Ndong (Northfield, CO)
Easton Hawkins Easton Hawkins 6'4" | CG Lehi | 2025 State UT : Easton is a hidden gem as he is a solid two way player that can not only defend at a high level but he can score off the bounce and get to his spots and score the ball very well. He has a lot of upside.
#4 Kongo Elite UA Rise
Full roster is not available but this is well put together. They have players that can play a big time role. A few players are really good off the dribble and in iso situations that help create for everyone around them. Kongo Elite UA Rise full roster has not been posted.
JJ Apathjang JJ Apathjang 6'5" | CG Judge Memorial Catholic | 2025 State UT : JJ is a big time slashing guard that has some size at 6’5. He has some solid hang time that allows him to finish some plays that other players might not finish. He has been a great addition to that Kongo Elite team.
Tyrin Jones Tyrin Jones 6'9" | CG Layton Christian | 2025 State UT : Tyrin gets better and better. He is quicker and craftier than you think when you see him out in the perimeter. He was making some elite moves and lays in Denver this past weekend. A lot of upside and he is a game changer with that height and skill.
Longar Alor Longar Alor 6'6" | SF Judge Memorial | 2025 State UT : One of the better forwards that can bag inside and hit the long ball outside.
Sam Romer Sam Romer 6'6" | CG Layton | 2025 State UT : Lanky stretch big that has been getting better and better every year.
Nick Harris Nick Harris 6'0" | PG Farmington | 2025 State UT : A very strong young PG that has a big time scoring punch but he cam also get other involved as well.
#4 UBC Elite
This team has some players that just play well together. From bigs that are willing passers to guards that can attack and share the ball as well. The shooting is apparent from position to position.
Cale Barclay Cale Barclay 6'8" | PF Herriman | 2025 State UT : Cale has had a big growth spur and he is a really turning into a next level stretch big that can push out to the wings and corners and make teams pay with that stretch ability.
Charlie Smith Charlie Smith 6'5" | SG Bountiful | 2025 State UT : The 6’5 SG is better than he gets credit. The kid has been playing at a next level clip this Spring. Look for him to have an excellent season at Bountiful. This kid can light it up. He actually has the style of play that would allow him to play on any team regardless of circuit.
Jaxon Soto Jaxon Soto 6'0" | PG Brighton | 2025 State UT : One of the best PG’s that has been waiting his turn but turning it up on the AAU level. This kid is a hooper.
Wesley Murdock: Dual sport athlete that is strong and can really defend and clean up the boards.
Easton Duft Easton Duft 5'9" | PG Fremont | 2025 State UT : High IQ PG that is fast and can disrupt on both ends with that speed. When he gets in the paint he can finish, dish or kick out.
Jack Anderton Jack Anderton 6'3" | CG Highland | 2025 State UT : Good wing that can score out in the perimeter.
Stockton Blanchard: Provides some ball handling and scoring ability as well.
#5 Utah Hard Knox
This team is scrappy and they have a few players that can really get things going. If a few of them get hot they can cause problems for anyone on this list. A couple of kids from Idaho that can really play.
Austin Simon Austin Simon 6'1" | PG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT .: He will be PG’s starting PG next season and he has some big game ability, especially with his passing ability and shot making.
Symon Sua Symon Sua 6'2" | PG Westlake | 2025 State UT : This kid is another player that can likely play on any team on this list because he is a bucket that plays with a high motor on both ends at all times. He never takes plays off.
Carter Funk (Canyon Ridge, ID)
Nate Pace Nate Pace 6'6" | CG Morgan | 2025 State UT : Nate played on a solid Morgan team and he has the ability to do a little bit of everything with some size.
David Rothweiler (Canyon Ridge, ID)
Bradlee Trejo: Had a great year at the lower level at Syracuse and looks to make an impact next season. He is getting good experience with UHK.
Tyler Jackman Tyler Jackman 6'3" | SF Ridgeline | 2025 State UT : Put this kid in the corners where teams will help off and he will light it up. The kid can shoot the rock.
Mason Hill (Canyon Ridge, ID)
