Sehome Mariners
Before the season Sehome added legendary Western Washington coach Brad Jackson to lead the program and it paid off greatly. Last year the Mariners went to the 2A state tournament as the 8th seed but unfortunately they lost both their games at state. They were a top 2A team all season and were led by an all senior starting lineup. Grey Garrison Grey Garrison 6'5" | PF Sehome | 2023 State WA , Mathew Storms Mathew Storms 6'3" | SG Sehome | 2023 State WA , and Grant Kepley Grant Kepley 6'4" | CG North Creek | 2023 State WA led the way all season being one of the best trios in the entire conference. Garrison has great height and shoots the ball extremely well from everywhere on the court. Storms is aggressive with the ball, attacking with both hands efficently. Kepley is a fantastic facilitator who can score when needed and adds great length to the lineup as well. Other senior starters Dane Dominguez and Issac Lawerence added some spark to the team also.
It seems as if Brad Jackson will be back so that will help the Sehome program as it loses over 8 seniors. Nolan Wright Nolan Wright 5'10" | PG Sehome | 2026 State WA will step into a leadership role next season and will likely be the top option for the Mariners. He attacks the ball well and is able to control the pace of the game extremely well. He shoots the ball at a high percentage and normally makes the right decision. Soon to-be seniors Braddock Duckworth and Austin McKay will have their roles increase as well. Braddock has a huge frame, standing at 6’7″, he plays aggressively and is a great defender down low. ’26 Cole Turrell will likely be on the varsity squad next year after a great season on the JV squad. Sehome is in a short rebuilding phase, but could contend next season if things click.
