-How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?rnI’m proud of our team how we performed this season, it was a disappointing ending but overall I was very proud of are effort day in and out! We got a lot better and I’m very excited for the guys coming back!
-What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?rnOne of our biggest obstacles was we would come out slow in games, we improved as the season went on.
-What do you think you improved most on the court?rnI gained alot of confidence over the summer, I’m a late bloomer and my began to mature more athletically.
-What are you looking to improve before the next level?rnI’m looking to gain weight and muscle and get quicker.
-Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season? Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?rnMatt and Grant are both big time players that will be successful at the next level. Isaac shot the ball at an extremely high precent and we relied on him to hit big time shots. Dane did a great job taking care of the ball and creating shots for us he’s a huge part of our success. In my opinion the 2 best reserves in the NWC were all on our team Nolan Wright Nolan Wright 5'10" | PG Sehome | 2026 State WA and Braddock Duckworth are key returns with crazy potential both gave us great minutes this year and I see them being all league guys next year!

Grey has great length and size, making him a matchup problem for any opposing team. He rebounds well and is aggressive in the paint. Grey has a very nice outside side so he is able to stretch the floor nicely when he’s on the court. He runs the floor well in transition as well.

Grey has great size for the Northwest Conference, as not many players can match up to his 6’7″ frame. He’s strong down low and is aggressive with the ball by the bucket. He can step outside and hit the three ball very well. He hustles down the court on both sides of the ball, leading to transition dunks and blocks.

Grey’s game on the court in my eyes has taken a big step since last season. He’s made his game more well rounded, improving his athleticism, attacking the rim, and perfecting his shot. He played stellar for Sehome during the summer league games they played in, displaying his athleticism with multiple in game dunks. He can hit the shot from deep very well, being able to step 3/4 feet beyond the line and hit it just as smoothly.

Another one who shoots it off the dribble well and much like his teammate, can get to the bucket with a couple of long strides and finish at the rim. He had quite a few dunks last season as well. He’s versatile at 6’7, and can score inside and out.

Another player on the Sehome team who made a big jump. When I watched Grey last season, I could tell he loved the game of basketball and knew he had potential. I can’t speak specifically if Garrison has grown, but when I saw him in person the other week, he looked like he had grown. His game has grown on the court too, he looks more agile and athletic on the court. His deep shot is already one of the best for a big man in the class and that’s only going to improve.

I also mentioned Grey in the article with the top 10 players from Whatcom and Skagit counties. I added him to that list due to growth I’ve seen in other areas of his game. One thing I’ve known that Grey excels at is shooting. With his size and long arms, he’s always been able to shoot the ball well from deep. His size helps him rise above defenders for the shot, where his long arms also help him. He has a natural shot that is one fluid motion and one of my favorites to watch.
