Sehome has been having some troubles to start the season but their young squad has showed signs of a bright future. Against Blaine early this season, Nolan dominated in every aspect of the game by controlling the pace of the game and being patient. Wright went off for 30 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 4 steals during the game.

Nolan is a strong point guard who has improved his mid-range and deep shot. He has been getting more upper body strength, helping him be one of the more physical guards in the entire state. Contact doesn’t scare him as he gets downhill and attacks the bucket against anyone standing down in the paint. On the football field, Nolan has one of the most accurate and strongest arms in the state. He scrambles well out of the pocket too, evading lineman to extend the play.

Nolan didn’t play AAU this summer but he has still been putting in work off the court in many different ways. He’s a leader on the court for this Mariners team and knows how to make his teammates excel on the court. He has a high motor and a willingness to do anything in order to win the game for his team. He gets downhill with either hand effectively and can finish through traffic with either hand as well. He did it all on the court last year for Sehome, averaging 11ppg, 5apg, and 5rpg. I could see him raise all 3 of those numbers.
