Ahmad Badwan — SG — Pride Roc
Badwan was simply unstoppable on Saturday. The Pride Roc shooting guard got to his spots and scored over and over again. I thought that Badwan did a really good job using his size to his advantage. Multiple times, the SG finished tough layups around bigger defenders or knocked down contested mid-range shots. He was able to score 21-points son efficient shooting numbers. College coaches should take notice of Badwan.
Montana Smith — SG — Power Circle
After a slow start to the first half, Smith really got going in the second half. While I still think that he has a long way to go in his development as a prospect, Smith showed flashes of greatness! He had a couple of impressive big-time dunks late in regulation to seal the victory for Power Circle. Smith was able to tally 16 points in the winning effort.
Jaquan Johnson Jaquan Johnson 5'10" | PG Pius XI | 2024 State WI — PG — Wisconsin Playground Club
Johnson just doesn’t stop. Regardless of the situation, the Wisconsin Playground Club point guard is always playing at 100 percent. As a pure slasher, I don’t think that there are many prospects I’d rank over Johnson. He just does such a good job of attacking the defense and applying rim pressure. He was able to score 26 points for PGC in a win on Saturday morning.
Keaton Frisch Keaton Frisch 6'7" | SF Waunakee | 2024 State WI — SF — Wisconsin Playground Club
I think that Frisch could really make an impact at the college level. The Wisconsin Playground Club small forward is proving to be an effective rim protector. Even when he doesn’t block shots, his impact is still felt. Offensively, the SF is capable of getting buckets around the rim. I really liked the fight that Frisch showed in the paint on Saturday.
Charlie Geske Charlie Geske 6'4" | SF Brookfield Central | 2024 State WI — G — Milwaukee Trail Blazers
Geske has been on my radar for a while now. And even though he didn’t put up insane numbers (scoring 14 points), I still thought that Geske played one of his best games. I really love the confidence that the guard plays with. On the offensive end, he isn’t afraid to take the big shot. And when his team needs a bucket, it is often Geske who steps up. His stock certainly rose on Saturday.
Dallas Wallin Dallas Wallin 6'3" | SF Prescott | 2024 State WI — SF — Northwest Elite
Wallin has played excellent basketball this spring. It is clear that the small forward has made significant strides in his game. As a scorer, Wallin is much more polished and complete — he can score in just about any scenario. On the other side of the court, Wallin has always been a strong rebounder and defender. Coaches should take a look at Wallin before it is too late.
