Valin Ramberg
Valin Ramberg
Really like the current ability as well as potential that Valin possesses. At 6’6 he already has plenty of size, and looks like he has the combination of skill and mobility to swap between the 3 and 4 spots. Valin was stretching the floor with a smooth shooting stroke from three, and was making plays around the basket either off the dribble or out of the post. Showed some athleticism as he beat his man baseline and rose up for a dunk. Against a smaller team he was moving his feet against guards on the defensive end, while his size also allowed him to protect the rim and attack rebounds out of the air.
Drew helped lead Wisconsin Crusaders to an impressive win over Team Rose 3SSB. Team Rose came out pressuring the ball hard, and Drew did a great job of remaining calm under pressure and limiting turnovers. Down the stretch Drew was making big plays as he knocked down multiple threes, and was creating chances by getting his man in the air and attacking the basket to force help defenders to step in on him. Drew plays with a type of composure well beyond his years, as he was unfazed by high ball pressure in a tight game down the stretch.

Finn had an impressive game to help lead Real Phenom past NEBC on Saturday afternoon. He was being defended by a 6’5+ wing with D1 level athleticism, but Finn’s work off the ball was creating constant opportunities around the rim and from mid-range. When he caught Finn was finding success getting his man in the air with a quick shot fake, while around the rim he was able to pivot over either shoulder to finish at the rim. After a defensive rebound, Norman showcased the skill to put the ball on the floor and initiate the break on his own.

Kaycee Guzman
I really liked the impact that Kaycee made on the defensive end during the opening game of the day. He was using his quickness to get right up under opposing ball handlers, and was constantly able to cut them off and force them to change direction in the half-court. Guzman did a great job of keeping his arms out to avoid fouling, and was taking bumps straight to the chest whenever his man tried to attack. One of the top on-ball defenders I saw on the day.
Charles Duncan Charles Duncan 6’4″ | SF Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2025 State MN was another key player in Real Phenom’s win over NEBC. He has good size on the wing at 6’4, and displayed a smooth shooting stroke from three that was forcing opposing wings/forwards to step out and defend him beyond the arc. When he wasn’t hitting threes, Duncan was providing a major presence on the glass as he was relentless rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor. Had one bucket down the stretch where he grabbed 3-4 offensive rebounds in a row before finally converting to put the game out of reach.
Dejuan had a big opener for Greater Purpose, and then in the game I watched he made some more big plays to help lead his team to a win. Graise got things kicked off by breaking his man down off the dribble and then draining a three once the defender sagged off too much. Graise made some nice plays in transition as he always had his eyes scanning the floor and made good choices on when to dish it and when to finish on his own. Showed the ability to attack and finish with either hand in transition. The Kenosha Tremper product can really stretch the floor from three and has the length to defend on the wing.

Max Raimer Max Raimer 6’0″ | PG Sun Prairie East | 2025 State WI made a quick impact on both ends of the floor to help United Hoops get out to an early lead. He drained a three early and then on the defensive end he moved his feet on the ball and ended up drawing a charge. Throughout the game he was making smart reads and kept the ball moving, but if the chance was there he wasn’t afraid to let it fly from three. Knocked down his shots at a high rate while playing solid defense in a win for his team.
