Jam Hines | Prep Hoops Scout
Duncan’s blend of strength, ball skills, and multiple level shotmaking stood out. He scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds versus Riverdale Baptist then followed it up with 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists versus Bethel Academy. Duncan got downhill with physical drives for scores and kick outs/drop offs while getting to the pullup game. He’s equipped with a stout and projectable frame that should intrigue college coaches alongside his skillset.

-Love the pace that Duncan played with the ball in his hands snaking ball screens and operating from vulnerable spots in the defense to create for himself or teammates. His jumper is compact and fluid, he shoots the same shot whether it’s off the bounce or off the catch as he hit several contested looks to fill it up efficiently for Minnesota Prep. Easy plug n play scholarship player for a team looking for a competitive gamer willing to earn his keep.

Charles had some nice moments on Friday night for Real Phenom. From first watching him he really impressed with his smooth jumper from three combined with his 6’4 frame. He’s continued to develop and now looks good putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rack. Composed finisher off one or two feet with good touch off the glass. Someone who can get into his own shot but also play off the ball as a catch-and-shoot threat. Spends a lot of time guarding bigger forwards but can also defend on the wing.

Charles has the type of frame at 6’4 and skillset that allows him to play on the wing or as a smaller post. On the offensive end he has a buttery smooth jumper that allows him to stretch the floor from three, forcing opposing forwards to chase him out around the perimeter. Also has the strength to compete in the paint for rebounds and putback buckets. Duncan made some big shots down the stretch that put the game out of reach in the closing minutes as Real Phenom came away with a win.

was another key player in Real Phenom’s win over NEBC. He has good size on the wing at 6’4, and displayed a smooth shooting stroke from three that was forcing opposing wings/forwards to step out and defend him beyond the arc. When he wasn’t hitting threes, Duncan was providing a major presence on the glass as he was relentless rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor. Had one bucket down the stretch where he grabbed 3-4 offensive rebounds in a row before finally converting to put the game out of reach.
