Who’s your favorite riser?
The name Dante Allen Dante Allen 6'5" | SF Riviera Prep | 2025 State #57 Nation FL should ring a lot of bells this summer. His combination of size, confidence, and unselfish play helped him bring Riviera Prep to their first state championship in school history. His ability to affect the game on both ends is phenomenal. He can guard 1-3 rebounds well and knows when to turn it on in big moments. Allen’s a capable three point shooter, an athletic finisher around the rim, and creates for others. He’s advanced as a playmaker over the last year and has elite maturity to his game.
Which prospect from your area is ranked too low?
Mo Kamara Mo Kamara 6'7" | PF University | 2025 State FL comes to mind. He’s currently ranked in the low 30s, and I’m kicking myself after watching him with Florida Rebels 17U last weekend. He has some of the quickest and most effortless bounce I’ve seen of anyone in the class. The 6’7 forward runs the floor, attacks the offensive glass, and lives above the rim. He’s improving his feel for the game-opening his game as a cutter. Expect his stock to blow up with the live period approaching.
Who has the potential to outplay their ranking this summer?
Isaiah Richardson is a likely candidate. The IMG junior national standout has the playmaking ability and speed to catch eyes this summer. He’ll play for 1Family on the PRO16 circuit. His highlights are filled with next-level athleticism, dimes, and a knack for scoring in transition and the half court. Most kids with Richardson’s quickness don’t shoot as well as he does off the catch.
Anyone you think will play their way onto this list?
Jah Chin Jah Chin 5'10" | PG Port Charlotte | 2025 FL is on our watch list for a reason. A strong summer could catapult him into expanded rankings. He’s a shifty lead guard that can fill up the bucket. Chin has three-level scoring instincts, a tight handle, and the quickness to collapse a defense. Don’t let his size fool you; he competes like no one’s business. He’s a good finisher through contact and will play with other talented players from SWFL Hoops Inc. this summer.
